Amber's P.O.V.
Calum interwined our fingers and dragged me back to where the other guys were sitting. Steph was half asleep and Michael was watching her with this "awe" expression. I feel the need to set them up on a date. Calum squeezed my hand and looked at me, smiling. I gave a smile back and we sat down around the bonfire again. Luke looked at us and gave Calum a questioning look, then looked at our hands. Calum shook his head and I had no idea what was going on. I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier, so I leaned into Calum's chest once again.
Next thing I knew, I woke up to someone carrying me up the stairs in my house. I looked up to see Calum already looking down at me. "Calum?" "Yeah, sorry for waking you up" he whispered. I shook my head "never mind" I said. We reached my room and Calum sat me down on my bed carefully. "Did you like your party?" he asked. "Yes" I said truthfully "thank you so much". Calum smiled this smile that never gets old and sat down next to me. "I still have a present for you" he said and took a small box out of his pocket. He handed it to me and I opened it to reveal... a charm bracelet. With exactly 6 charms on it. An infinity symbol, a ladybird, a heart, a guitar, a flower and an A. "The 'A' is from your parents and Luke, Mike, Ash, Steph and I all got one charm. Ashton got you the infinity symbol, Luke got you the guitar, Mike got you a ladybird, Steph got you a flower and I- well I got you the heart" he said and looked at the floor. I felt a tear rolling down my cheek as I put the bracelet on and smiled at it. "Calum... this is so... beautiful" I said overhwelmed as I looked at all th charms. "Just like you?" "What?" "Never mind" he said and scratched the back of his neck. Before I knew it, I found myself kissing him on the cheek. "Thank you so much" I said and his arms wrapped around me in a hug. "Well, get ready for bed" he said and threw a shirt and shorts at me. I took them and went into the bathroom, got changed and brushed my hair.
When I got back into my room, Calum was still there with my guitar on his lap. "Jasey Rae, hm?" he asked and pointed towards the lyrics on the guitar. I nodded my head and sat down on my bed, then pulled the covers over my legs. Calum started strumming quietly, and then begun to sing

"Hey there Delilah / you'll be good and don't you miss me / two more years and you'll be done with school / and I'll be making history like I do / you know it's all because of you / hey there Delilah here's to you / this ones for you"
I felt myself smiling at how good the lyrics went with the situation. Calum's gonna make history with his band. He'll pay the bills with a guitar and in two years we'll be done with school. I drifted off into sleep, and before I was fully asleep, I heard Calum mumble "What are you doing to me?". Then he kissed my head and left the room.
Calum's P.O.V.
She looked so peaceful, almost asleep after I sung the song and I smiled as I realized how much the song fit our situation. I'll hopefully be paying the bills with my guitar one day and in two years we'll be done with school. I looked at her wrist, she had put the bracelet on. I hated seeing he battle scars. I took her arm in my hand and drew circles with my thumb around them. I was quite sure she was asleep by then, so I just stood up and thought out loud. "what are you doing to me?" I bent down and kissed her head, then left her room. "Calum?" I turned around to see Mr. Humms in the hallway. "Uh, hey Mr. Humms" I said awkwardly, since I just went out of his daughter's room. Then, an idea popped up inside of my head. "Hey, uhm, I wondered if I could take your daughter out one day" I said and felt my cheeks heat up. Stupid cheeks. Mr. Humms smiled and I let out a sigh of relief "Yeah, sure" he said and patted my back awkwardly. Could this beome more awkward? Yes it could. "but" he said, "If you hurt her, I will be after you" I shivered and shook my head. "I won't. I promise"
*flashback*
"Are you going to leave Calum?" "No, why would I?" "Everyone else did" "I won't. I promise"
*flashback ends*
I thanked Mr. Humms and then went out of the house, into mine and then in my room. "YES" I yelled and went fist pumping around the room, until Mali came in and looked at me amused. "What hapened?" she asked laughing. "I think I just got myself a date" I said and smiled widely. "Please tell me it's Amber" Mali said and I nodded. "Yeah!" she shouted and hugged me "finally! I'm proud of you Calum" "Proud for what?" I turned around to see Luke in my door. "Uh... I" I said and Mali chuckled. "Calum's got a date with Amber" she exclaimed and Luke cheered. "Finally!"
What's it with people being 'finally' about this?

I am so so so so sorry for not updating but there has been a lot of family trouble and then I had a writer's block and yeah. Sorry :( now I'm sick so I'll be able to write a lot which is good. I personally liked this chapter a lot because Plain White T's yay. I love this song so much :3
