Calum’s P.O.V.
Her mom opened the door and I noticed her redden eyes straight away. “Hello, Mrs. Humms” I said as she gestured for me to come inside. “Amber is upstairs” she said and I nodded, walking up the stairs. I stopped in her room when I heard loud sobs. No. She wasn’t in her room, there were things tossed around it, a glass shattered in the corner. I walked through the room towards her bathroom door and tried to open it, but it was locked. I felt myself getting more and more worried. “Amber? I know you’re in there. Open the door, please” I begged. I heard her let out a quiet scream and knocked on the door again. “Come on, open up” I said and sat down next to the door. “L-leave C-calum” she cried. “I told you I wouldn’t” I said, trying to stay as calm as I could. “Just leave Calum” she cried a bit louder. But then, there was a thud. “Amber?!” I asked and she didn’t respond, her sobs still audible, but quiet now. Shit. I looked at the door, the across the room. Then I remembered and old trick. I grabbed a sheet of paper from her desk and a pen. Then I carefully stuck half of the paper under the door and pushed the key out of the lock with the pen. I heard a clink and pulled the paper towards me again, sighing in relief as I saw I did it. I grabbed the key and unlocked the door with shaky fingers.
What I saw was more shocking than anything else. Amber, crouched down on the floor next to her phone and a... razor blade. The white tiles were full of blood and she was only in her underwear and the TMNT shirt. “CALUM LEAVE” she cried as I rushed over to her. I said nothing because I couldn’t. I would’ve broken into tears if I had. I picked up the blade carefully and flushed it down the toilet. “CALUM STOP” she cried again. Then I sat down next to her, forcing her arms from behind her back. I felt tears brimming in my eyes as I saw them. There were a lot of cuts on her arm and a lot of blood, but one thing shocked me the most. There was one cut on her arm that was a letter. A ‘V’. A ‘V’ like Victoria. Like Vicky. Like her sister. She tried to pull her arms away as her tears dropped from her face onto her legs, but I held them. “C-calum w-why can’t you j-just leave” she cried quietly, desperate. I grabbed toilet paper and started to wipe up the blood on her arms. I flushed it down the toilet and grabbed a towel, soaked it with water and cleaned the bit of dried blood on her arms. Then I spotted a first aid kid under the sink and grabbed it, bandaging up her arms. She was still crying, but not as loud as she did before. I looked around the room, the tiles were full of blood. So, I bent down and carefully picked her up. I don’t know how she does it, being such a lightweight while being so tall for a girl, but that’s not what I thought about. I sat her on the bed and sat down right next to her, pulling her into my arms. “Don’t do this. Please” I finally managed to whisper, a tear rolling down my face. “Don’t ever do this again. Please don’t hurt yourself” I said as she turned around and buried her face in my chest. “I’m so sorry Calum” she cried. “Shh” I soothed “don’t apologize. Just don’t do it again. You can tell me what’s wrong, okay?” I said and after a while, she looked up at me, and I remembered how she was only a month and a half earlier. A quiet, shy girl with sad eyes and a desperate look. A girl that looked fragile. And right at that moment, she looked like that again. Her eyes were bloodshot, swollen, and her cheeks were tear stained. I wiped some tears away with my thumb as she spoke quietly. “I-I’ts been… two.. t-two months since…. S-she” I cut her off by pulling her into a huge hug. Why didn’t she tell me? I would’ve cancelled the meeting. I would’ve been with her for the rest of the day. It’s been two month since she had to witness her sister kill herself. Oh god. Oh no. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I whispered into her ear. “I d-didn’t want you to think you had to stay with me for the day” she croaked out. “Well I should’ve” I said.
Two hours later, we were still on her bed, but she had fallen asleep. She was leaned against my chest while I played with her hair. She began to stir in her sleep, then kicked her legs. “Amber?” I asked and her eyes shot open, tears brimming in them again. “Calum” she said weakly “I saw her” I was confused. “I mean, I- I dreamed s-she… did it again” she said quietly and I pulled her into my arms once again “It’s okay” I said quietly, though I didn’t know if it was okay. “I don’t want to be here” she said into my chest. “Well then let’s go to mine” I said, and before she could respond, I had thrown a pair of sweats at her. She quietly pulled them on, and then I picked her up again, carrying her out of her room. “Calum, are you serious?” she said and I nodded. “Yeah. We’ll let your parents know later” I said. I guessed she was just too exhausted to protest, she had lost some blood and she had cried for nearly two hours, and that was only the time I was there. Luckily, my parents were on some dinner and Mali was out, so I carried her into my room and laid her down on my bed. “I’ve never been here before” she stated and looked around the room. I grabbed my laptop and sat down next to her. “Disney?” I asked and she nodded with a small smile. We sat on my bed and watched this tangled movie on netflix, I wasn’t really paying attention but I knew how much my sister liked Disney movies when she was sad, so I had guessed it was the right thing to do. It had gotten really late by the end of the movie and I could see her eyes closing slowly. “Tired?” I asked and she nodded. I noticed the blood stains on her shirt. “Do you wanna change in another shirt?” I asked but didn’t give her the time to respond. I pulled out a random shirt which happened to be my Slipknot shirt and handed it to her. “Calum, can you just, like, uh, turn around?” she asked and I chuckled, then turned around and waited for her to get changed. “Okay” she said and I turned around to see her in my shirt that covered half of her thighs. She had taken off the sweats and the blood stained shirt. I shimmied out of my jeans and took off my shirt, leaving me in my boxers. I caught her staring at me. “Like what you see?” I smirked and she quickly turned away “Sure Hood” she said sarcastically “because you’re so hot” “I am, we discussed this, Humms” I said and she giggled quietly. I laid down next to her on the bed again and she scooted closer. “I’m just cold” she reasoned as I felt her cold legs against mine. “Shit, you really are” I said and lifted the blanket to throw it over the two of us. Her back was facing me, and I assumed she was asleep a while later. “Goodnight” I whispered and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close to me.

A/N:
Nawh. I can't even say anything but nawh.
I can't believe this is already Chapter 20. I though I'd end this story because I would get annoyed of it, but I still like the storyline actually! So thank you a lot if you read until here and I hope you'll continue to read. It'd mean a lot to me if you voted and I take this chance to say SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH. I don't know if I make a lot of mistakes, English isn't my native language as you know :)
