Adora POV:

Holy crap!  I almost said I love you to Catra.  I don't know where it came from but it almost slipped out.

I don't even know if I'm in love with her.  I don't even know what love is.

I do like the way she smirks at me with her heterochromatic eyes.  Every time she's near me, I get butterflies and kinda want to pass out.  And her smile...

Wait a minute...

"Adora!  C'mon we don't have time for you to just stand around looking like an airhead if we want to get back before nightfall." Catra swayed her tail impatiently

I flushed because I was just standing there looking into empty space. 

I quickly recovered and started to march on.  C'mon Adora act natural... "Yeah totally bro let's head back."

Shit.  Omg I am SO dumb.

Catra scanned my face with a confused look and then shrugged.  She started to walk fast through the woods with me following her.

Seriously Adora...

(Time skip)

Catra POV:

It's been a couple of days since we got back, and Adora's being weirder than usual.

She's always awkward and easily flustered.  But not this much ugh that girl has such a thick skull.

Things are starting to seem pretty normal around here.  The tall purple queen lady hasn't bothered me with questions about the Horde or anything else.

Besides everyone looking at me like they want to throw a shoe at my face.  Life is fine and a bit boring.

I was walking through the halls looking at all the princessy pictures until that annoying Sea dude came along.

Not him again.

Seahawk sauntered down the hallway. "MERMISTAAA?  Where are you my sweet...uh Catra?"

Dude almost ran into me.  I had to force my claws to retract.  I forced a smile that probably looked like a grimace.

"Uh..hey Seabird."

He looked at me and smiled. "It's pronounced Seahawk my lady.  Usually people never forget my name because I'm Seahawk."

Wow that poor mermaid girl.

I waited for him to pass by, but he just stood there awkwardly.

"Can I help you?"  I scowled at him.

"Uh- no no.  I bet you're probably looking for Adora." 

My cheeks flushed at her name.

"Uh-n-no.  I have plenty of other things to do than just find Adora." 

Even though I hear her name countless of times in the day, I'm never tired of hearing it.

Seahawk put a hand on his chest. "Well I know when I see two lovebirds looking for each other."

I jumped up.

"What?!  We're not in love!!!"

Seahawk chuckled and bounced up.  I'm so close to punching him.

"Whatever you say.  Love is an ADVENTA—"

He was quickly cut off by Mermista who dragged him away while sighing.

Adora.  She doesn't love me.  Does she?

No.  I've hurt her so much.  We just both find each other attractive.  It's not like she can return my feelings...

My ears dropped as I leaned on a pillar in the hallway.

"Etheria, I love her."

"Love who?"  Adora walks towards me.

I jumped up in surprise.  How did she get here so fricking fast?!

"Adora?!  Who?  Uh erm no one."

She crossed her arms and smirked at me.  Crap she doesn't believe me.  Oh no.

"Well if you say so.  I'm done with my meeting.  Do you want to go to bed?"

I gulped.  Why was I so nervous?  It's usually her that's flustered and trips over her words.

"Uh y-yeah sounds good."

Adora smiled at me and walked into our room.  I watched her go as her blonde hair bobbed up and down.  God she looks good.  Her arm muscles shown through her shirt.  Her athletic build was easily seen through her tight clothes. 

My eyes traced her from head to toe.  Adora looked up and smirked.

"Catra are you drooling?"

I quickly checked my face and recovered.  I followed her into the room and wrapped my tail around her waist.  Oh she's not getting away that easily.

"We'll see who's drooling after tonight."
