Before you get started on this book, I want to note down a few things that this book contains. I'm not doing this to bore you - I'm doing this to spare you from reading a book which might trigger you a little bit later on.
I know what it's like when you read a book that you really like and then having to stop because something totally triggering. It's a uncomfortable and treacherous feeling. I simply feel like many authors these days don't give little warnings before you start the book. It's always on the chapter someone passes away or hurts themselves :(
But I want to get this out of the way and done with, hence this chapter! So without further ado...
This book includes:
- Strong language
- Intimacy
- Mild drug use
- Dangerous behaviour (e.g. self-harm, excessive drinking, contemplating suicide, breaking the law)
- Discrimination (towards those who are sex workers, homophobic slurs, sexism)
- Mental Health (depression, grief, etc...)
All longer chapters are under 1500 words.
All shorter chapters will be more than 500 words.
