I walked into the kitchen and sat down to Lilly. “Okay, dinners ready,” Drew said standing in front of us. He smiled and sat down.

I picked up my fork and started moving the peens around. The smell was making me sick, but I didn’t want to be rude. I have told Drew about me being pregnant. I didn’t know how too.

Lilly pumped me under the table making me look up at her. She tilted her head to the side and pointed at Drew.

I shook my head. I know what she was trying to say. And I was not telling Drew I was pregnant at dinner. That’s just crazy.

I went back to moving my food around when Lilly spoke up. “Jess has to tell you something.”

I dropped my fork on the plate and looked up. “No I don’t.” I shook my head pleading Lilly not to open her mouth again.

“Jess, you haven’t even touched your food.” Drew said frowning.

                “I know.” I said. “I just feel a little…. Sick.”

“Pregnant should be the word.” Lilly mumbled rolling her eyes. I kicked her under the table and gave her a warning look.

“What?” Drew said looking at Lilly.

                “Nothing!” Lilly said smiling.

Drew shook his head and looked back at me. “Well, if you feel sick how about you go to bed or something. Maybe you can eat later.”

I nodded. “Okay.” I got up to my feet and started walking around the table. “Lilly, when your done here, come to the room for a second?” It was more like a question.

                “Sure.” She said nodding.

I walked away going to Drew’s room and closing the door slowly behind me. I laid in bed looking at the baby picture of Lilly and him that he had on the side of his bed. I smiled and laughed at their silly faces. I turned on the radio laid back down.

I was bored… but didn’t know what to do with myself.

After dinner, Lilly tipped toed into the room. “I’m here.” She announced.

I shot a glare at her. “What was all that about?” I question.

“He has to know!” Lilly said.

“I don’t want to tell him. Not yet. Especially not at dinner.”

                “Fine.” Lilly said pouting.

“Anyways,” I said. “Can you run to the store and get me a few bags of chips and ice cream? Cookies and cream?” I asked giving her my biggest smile I could.

“Fine.” Lilly sighed. “But only because I love you.”

“Yay!!” I said clapping my hands together. “Thank you.”

Lilly left to the store and Drew walked in. He sat down next to the bed on the floor and shook his head. “What’s wrong?” I asked sitting up.
