After what felt like an eternity, he began to notice Ellen and Jo mingling with their customers again. He sighed as Jo messed with the jukebox, nose crinkling in disgust as "I Can't Fight This Feeling" began to play. He watched as the blonde picked up a tray littered with dishes, catching her eye as she headed towards him. "What?" She shrugged, setting the tray down.

"REO Speedwagon?"

She grinned. "Dang right REO. Kevin Cronin sings it from the heart."

The oldest Winchester rolled his eyes, waving the younger girl off. "He sings from the hair. There's a difference." For a minute the pair stared at each other as if each was debating whether they were discussing the earlier incident.

Finally, Jo broke the silence. "That profile you've got Ash looking for... Your mom died the same way, didn't she? A fire in Sammy's nursery?"

Dean flinched, hesitating before speaking. Seems like we're moving on, he thought to himself, startled by the sudden change in subject. "Look... Jo, it's kind of a family thing." She leaned forward, her eyes wide with pleading.

"But I could help!" She whispered.

He glanced nervously at Ellen, who was cleaning glasses nearby. "I'm sure you could," he sighed. "But we've got to handle this one ourselves. Besides, if we ran off with you, I'm pretty sure your mom would kill me." He shot a nervous smile at the older woman as she glanced up at them suspiciously. As Jo laughed at the pure ridiculousness of his fear of Ellen, Sam, Ash, and Lillian came up behind him.

"We got a match," Sam informed the group, despite the stares at Lillian. Ellen rushed over from across the room, eyes fixated on the redhead, who shifted further behind Ash. Dean shot her a worried look, feeling rushed more by her fear than by Sam's nerves. With a hurried farewell, the oldest Winchester herded his best friend out of the roadhouse. Whatever was going on he would get to the bottom of it. Then he would fix it.

Like he always did.

Lillian rolled her eyes as she woke to the wailings of REO Speedwagon filled the Impala, fighting a grin as she made the connection. "Really, Metalhead?" she chuckled.

He made eye contact with her through the mirror, his smile matching hers as he shrugged. "Heard the song somewhere. Can't get it out of my head." Sam shot his brother a confused look, forcing his older brother to regain his composure. Lillian stared out the window, watching as the scenery passed by as the brothers continued arguing. "I don't know, man. Whaddya got?"

The girl in the backseat fought back a grin as Sam shook off the confusion, focusing back on the papers in his hands. "Um... Andrew Gallagher. Born in eighty-three, like me. Lost his mother at exactly six months, also like me."

"So, the demon killed his mom," Lillian muttered, her voice sounding as though she was anything but focused on her current conversation.

Dean shot her an annoyed look as he searched for something to say. Finally, he sighed, "How did you even know to look for this guy?"

Lillian shrugged as she turned her attention back to the Winchester brothers. "Every premonition he says he's had hasn't been about the demon. It's been about the kids he visited. Not too big of a reach."

Sam nodded, raising a hand in agreement as. "Right. Like Max Miller. Remember him?"

Dean scowled. "Yeah, but Max Miller was a pasty little psycho."

"The point is," Sam snapped, surprising Lillian as well this time. "He was killing people and I was having the same type of visions about him and now it could be happening with this Gallagher guy all over again." This time Bobby's daughter stared long and hard at the younger Winchester. She knew all too well what he was thinking and she wanted no part in it.
