A/N: Y'all I am so sick rn and it is soooo much fun *sarcasm intensifies* But yeah basically I'm dead inside but I have time to write now so yay! This is kind of a crappy filler but we should be hitting some more action soon

Lillian sat absorbed by her own thoughts as they pulled up to the roadhouse. Her first official hunt as one of the guys had been... Interesting to say nothing else. Andy had actually turned out to be a nice guy and had slipped her his number. She smirked remembering how she had stared at it before handing it back. "I can't." she had sighed. "I'm just not... In the market"

He had just laughed. "Keep it anyway," he said. "I'm just a friend. You need anything after all the help you gave me, I'm there." The redhead stared down at her bag where the number sat tucked away among the clutter of her gear. She'd have to hide it well, but she knew that she would be hanging on to that number. Just in case. Besides, Bobby had always said it never hurts to have contacts in the hunting world. And who knew? If Andy shared the connection she and Sam did, she may need him sooner rather than later.

As the boys got out of the Impala, she hesitated. Dean shot her a sympathetic look through the window, gesturing for her to come. She could hear Ellen and Jo shouting at each other and she wanted no part in that. Slowly, the redhead shook her head, signaling that she would wait in the car. The last time she and the boys were at the roadhouse, things hadn't exactly ended on good terms and even though she hadn't done anything reckless on this hunt, that didn't mean Ellen wouldn't seize the opportunity to berate her for the events of her previous visit. Besides, at this point, Jo had questions that Lillian simply did not want to answer. Dean shrugged, looking somewhat disappointed and very worried. She shot him a half-hearted smile before he and his brother finally started towards the Roadhouse.

As they went in she thought about the decisions she was going to have to make. How long was it going to take for Steven to get worried? How long before she needed to head home? How long did she have to make stupid decisions on these hunts before Dean wouldn't send her home for a reckless one? How long could she hide from Ellen and Jo before they found out about her boyfriend? How long before the boys noticed something was up?

As the questions began to pile up a sharp pain flew through his head, causing her to cry out. She flung the door open desperately, but before she could get out, light poured from her hands, incinerating the nearby grass. She stared at it in shock and horror. She was getting worse. The last time, she had just burnt her hand a little. At least now she knew that the powers were affected by her emotions. That meant that there was an obvious solution.

Just keep doing what she'd always done.

"You know," Dean said as they entered the apartment. "You can't hide from Ellen and Jo forever."

Lillian rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me what to do Dean. It gets old quick."

He sighed. "I'm just saying-"

"Sam, did we really snake Jo's case?" Lillian cut her friend off, speaking to his younger brother instead.

Sam hesitated, exchanging worried glances between his brother and the young redhead. "Uh... Yeah, we did. I feel kinda bad about it actually."

"Well she put together a good file," the oldest Winchester admitted. "But can you see her actually working one of these cases? I don't think so." Lillian rolled her eyes again, growing steadily more annoyed with her best friend. For some reason, he seemed determined to get on her nerves. She knew for a fact that the young Harvelle was a good hunter. The two of them had snuck out together quite frequently back when Bobby used to bring her to visit. Though she understood Ellen's side of things, Lillian would not stand for Jo being treated as incompetent.
