The Letter

Elsa sat in her castle's library, filling out papers and replying to other royal families who had invited her to their kingdoms for a spell.
It was the Valentine's ball that day, in which Anna had insisted on having.
However, as queen, Elsa had to much work to do to participate in the festivities.
"Hey Elsa, why don't you come join us?" Anna startled her from the library's doorway.
"Not today Anna, besides I wouldn't have anyone to dance with." Elsa said.
"What about me?" Anna pleaded, gripping the arm of Elsa's seat.
"You have your betrothed to take care of." Elsa grinned.
To her suspicion, Anna left without another word, other than her muttering about not being fun anymore, leaving Elsa to her papers.
She balanced on the edge of the desk's chair, scribbling down words on a piece of parchment.
The candle lit space had a slight draft blowing through, sending a rare shiver down Elsa's back.
Her weary eyes drooped from scanning the papers all day long, and her head bobbed.
'Tap' 'tap'
Her brain snapped to attention, the air dropping five degrees with it.
"Hello?" Elsa called out, looking at the doorway.
'Tap' 'tap'
Her head jerked to the other side of the room, where the large window sat.
She watched as if something invisible lifted the latch to the window, which kept it shut.
In awe, Elsa touched the window, pushing it open.
Sparkles danced like fireflies outside, bright whites and blues.
A bunny rabbit appeared among the midst of the glittery wonder, and hopped inside the castle's library, by Elsa's feet.
In it's mouth, it carried a letter.
Stunned, she followed it to the desk, where he hopped on top of, and placed the letter.
As promptly as it appeared, the rabbit left in a shimmer of glitter.
Elsa bent to the ground and felt the sparkles that the rabbit had left.
The texture was not soft and light as she had originally thought, but hard like ice crystals.
Bewildered, Elsa straightened up, smoothed her new thinner skirt into place, and plucked the letter from where the rabbit had left it.
It read this,
You work to hard, have some fun. Orders from the guardian of fun.
      - Jack Frost. ❄
"Jack Frost?" Elsa turned, confused to the ajar window, and peered outside.
She saw nothing on the misty, dreamlike night.
The moon was just like always, peeping every now and then from behind the soft clouds.
Through those, she saw a faint sign of the aurora borealis mingling with the already beautiful sky filled with stars.
So she went back to her desk and wrote, listening to the feint music coming from the party below her.
