(POV: Elsa)
"What makes you think that you can just up and leave us?" Anna demanded.
Elsa had known this was coming since she brought it up last night. Thankfully, Anna had been kind enough to let Elsa get some sleep.
Not that it helped much.
She had been up half the night stressing out about what was to happen on the quest, if that be what you would call this.
Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff had decided to take a stroll down one of their paths behind the castle, the autumn leaves crunching beneath their toes.
More like Anna had dragged the two of them out of their beds at the crack of dawn.
"Anna, I've already stated my argument. And as queen you are going to have to listen to me." Elsa hated to pull the 'I'm the queen' card, but it was the most affective against her. She didn't want Anna anywhere near this Death figure.
"But Elsa, if you don't come back . . ." Anna' voice faltered her for once.
"Saying and even thinking things like that make him stronger. So the best way for you to help, is to trust us to make it through this alive."
"You're all only hardly in your twenties. This guy has been around for centuries! What makes you think you can beat him?" Anna said, verging on the edge of a hysterical meltdown.
"And you being there makes any difference?" Elsa told her. "Look, I know you only want to help, but being there will only be a distraction for me. Because if I see something trying to hurt you, I will stop at nothing to break it. Which could put the mission and all of our lives at risk. Anna look at me." Elsa tilted her chin up so she could see her eyes. "I love you."
The two sisters embraced for a long while, soaking in what could be their last moments together.
A branch snapped behind them, and in the blink of an eye, Anna had pulled out Kristoff' own sword and swung it at the sound.
"Hey!! It's just me!!" Jack protested, flying up in the air to dodge the razor sharp blade.
"Sorry, just a little jumpy today." Anna mumbled an apology.
"Aren't we all." Jack muttered.
"What are you doing here?" Elsa asked to keep the conversation from getting awkward.
"Oh . . Right, um we were going to head out after breakfast. Merida and Hiccup got the Skrills ready already, and Rapunzel finished packing them up with supplies she spent last night packing." Jack explained.
"Guess not many of us actually slept last night." Elsa giggled.

Elsa's sore tailbone ached from the continuous motion of the magnificent beast she rode upon.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Flap

Flying above the clouds to miss the storm was one of the most beautiful experiences Elsa had had. Don't get her wrong, but her heart tightened whenever she thought about even the slightest possibility that she may never see Anna again.
She had been so lost in thought, Elsa hadn't noticed Hiccup had been flying alongside her till he spoke.
"Feel a little guilty for leaving." He said it as a statement, not a question.
Elsa nodded anyways.
"Do you?"
"Yup." Hiccup replied. "But at least it gives us all an edge am I right?"
He had raised his voice to include the rest of the group.
"Aye, I couldn' bear the though' of my brothers runnin the kin'dom." Merida said.
"Or leaving Astrid without a goodbye hug at least." Hiccup said solemnly.
"At least you wrote her a note," Jack pointed out. "Now she'll have something to hold onto if . . Worse comes to pass."
"I can't leave Flynn behind either like that. I was already on a visit down this way, and since the storm, I'm not sure my last letter explaining about the moon's mission got to him." Rapunzel said.
Elsa glanced at Jack, expecting him to say something that he was holding onto that he left for the mission.
She could tell that is what everyone else thought as well, but no one said anything when he stayed silent.
