"We have to do something!" Anna's eyes teared up.
"Hey, it's okay, we'll think of something." Elsa wrapped Anna up in a hug.
"Whe'n was da las' time ya slept lass." Merida asked, "You're not gettin nothin done with tha exhaus'ion in ya, go ta sleep, I go' this."
"Excuse me? That's my cousin we are talking about, there is no way I'm not going." Elsa asserted, frustration building up within her.
"Look. I don' know if the droppin' of da tempera're is supposet to scare me or summthin, but I saw ya on da water earlier, you can't get through!" Merida exclaimed.
With that, Elsa had to agree. "Then how did you expect to make it past the waves? Is there something that you can do and I can't?"
Merida sneered, "I coul' shoot yer eye out in da dark, but I don't 'cause Jack said na to, now don' ya see, there is nothin we can do to hel'p her."
"So we just wait?" Anna asked in fear, "What is all this about anyways? why are you here? why is Rapunzel coming, and why is Jack showing up more than normal-" Merida clamped a hand over her mouth to stop her words.
"it's bes' if she explained, Na tonigh' though. we 'ave to sleep 'fore tomorrow." Merida said.
"Yes, Let's go." Elsa said, leading them inside for some warm food and a cozy place to sleep.
(Jack POV)
"Why not one last time!" Jack pleaded with Hiccup Haddock the stubborn.
"I have a family now Jack, a wife and a child on the way, as well as being chief. If my child grew up without a father-" Hiccup trailed off, "I can't let that happen."
"They might just if this guy is not stopped." Jack insisted, following Hiccup past the dragon's barn.
"Is it that bad?" He asked, vaguely concerned as he dished out some fish into a basket.
"Hiccup, this isn't a joke. The moon summoned you." Jack said gravely.
That got his attention, "No one has been called since Pitch."
Jack nodded, "It scares me Hiccup, only I was called when that happened. Now the moon is asking for four people, not including me, instead of one. And Pitch was difficult enough."
"So who are we fighting?" Jack grinned when he said 'we.'
"You're going to come?"
"Can't exactly ignore the moon, especially if it called that many people. What fear is arising."
Jack twisted his fingers around his staff. "The fear of Death."
Hiccup's eyes widened, and he looked Jack in the eyes for the first time. "That's why so many were summoned." Jack nodded again. "Everyone fears Death, that's why he's that big of an issue."
"We must go immediately then." Hiccup ran, as fast as a one legged viking could go, which he'd gotten faster over time, towards his house. He popped two fingers in his mouth and supposedly whistled. Jack couldn't hear anything, but Hiccup's dragon did.
The excited black Night Fury came bounding from behind the house towards them.
"What will you tell Astrid?" Jack asked.
"Right, gods I almost forgot." Hiccup stopped saddling Toothless, and took out a paper from one of his many pockets.
He scribbled down a hastey message and tucked it into the doorway.
Hiccup came back quickly and Jack helped him finish saddle Toothless.
"Did you tell her where you were going?" Jack asked.
Hiccup shook his head. "She'd only follow me, putting the child in danger."
"Do you really think she'd stay put anyways?"
"Yes," Which surprised Jack, "My mother will convince her that it is best for Berk if she stayed. But that would only work if I didn't tell her where I am headed."
"Guess that makes sense." Jack said. "Ready?"
"As I'll ever be." Hiccup replied, mounting his beloved dragon and glancing back at his home one last time before they tool off into the windy night.
