Chapter 11

I was getting ready to go the palace when I realised my father wanted to see Wyatt for some reason he doesn't want to mention, just don't tell me he thinks we are dating. But if I took Wyatt with me that means leaving Mizu alone with the caretaker which she really didn't like so we ended up going to the palace together. It's mizu's third time coming to the palace so I've already called Justin to take care of her when I'm off to the queen and Wyatt is off to the king wow. We're at the palace and Wyatt was carrying a sleeping Mizu in his hands, that's not the problem Mizu cries if she doesn't find me when she wakes up and can kick Wyatt real hard that he won't be able to walk to the king, so I left with Zara, after Justin arrived.
At the queen's chamber:
" Mother please I atleast want to inform my friends about this marriage please, I promise I won't run I'll comeback" I saw a pleading Jenny on her knees before my mother. Never have I ever saw Jenni nor my mother so scared, what's happening.
"I'm sorry Jenni it's for your best, if you go out and meet someone it'll only put them in danger. Why don't you send your message through Alexa"
"No, no that will only make everything worse, please mother she's suffering a lot. I can feel the misery and its only getting worse." See I knew something was wrong like Jenny getting engaged to someone beside Zara my bestfriend and this shit is pissing me off.
"How about we just tell it to Aadya she'll understand I believe she will. Ofcourse it's for mizu so we better inform her" Jenny said standing up
"You heard what I've said and I want you in your room right now" my mother said in a serious tone I've heard only twice
"No I can't ...... She's here. Mom Zara is here I can feel her"
Well that's how much in love with Zara my sister is like literally she senses her presence faster than anyone in the whole world wow.
"Can I know what's the thing you are hiding from me even though it involves my daughter" I asked entering my mother's room followed by Zara and in no time there is Jenny clinging to Zara who is already a crying mess. This just brought a smile on my face seeing how true their smiles are compared to earlier.
"It's the king of West, he wants to marry the Princes of rosewood else he would start a war among the kingdom and that may result in separation of our kingdom. So I decided to get Jenny married to him" she said as if she's reading a paragraph she learnt already. Though I can sense the sadness laced in her voice I'm not the one who's buying it, one question more.
"Does father know it ?" Ofcourse my father would never allow this to happen why am I even asking.
"No he doesn't, I didn't inform him about the whole thing  I just told him how our kingdom would strengthen if this marriage happens. And about mizu all he warned us was ' either you or mizu will be killed as a starting step' "
"Bullshit ! Who said you can decide my sister's lifestyle ? He's messing up with me not the kingdom and let him know I'm the princess here. And if he's gonna touch mizu he's going through me."
For a while I thought then I asked. My mother"So is it for keeping the kingdom in one piece and keep it stronger" she only nods.
" Zara you're the Princess of thunder bay right, that means three fourth of the kingdom is under your father's control, that means the three fourth of the west in under your father's control. So if you're the one to marry Jenny the kingdom is safe, As per my knowledge your father only needs to meet Jenny as he already accepted your preference" Zara simply nodded still holding onto Jenny afraid that my mother will take her away if she leaves her for a second, Jenny  is still a crying mess that I feel so bad for Zara's shirt.
"Mother tomorrow you and the king are going to meet Zara's parents and you are personally going to explain the situation here, let me see how this goes on" I ended my statement to meet up with a happy couple hugging me hard enough to cough blood and a satisfied Queen.
"I really hoped you would learn to respect people's feelings mother but I realized you aren't the one to change" I shook my head in disbelief and came out of the queen's room. But I did heard something " I wasn't ready to allow something to be taken away from you again" . If this is about mizu I know how to protect my family I may have failed once but I won't always.

Third person pov:

One year back.....

Aadya was in her college waiting for Tiffany as always to bring her food, but she wasn't waiting for her food she was waiting for her daughter mizu. Tiffany came along with mizu in her arms to whom Aadya ran and took mizu in her hands now.
"Have you feed her yet?" Aadya asked Tiffany who nodded in response. Aadya sat to eat, when she was in middle of her lunch Tiffany left to restroom leaving mizu with Aadya.
It was fifteen minutes and Tiffany didn't return which made Aadya curious so she took mizu with her and left to where Tiffany went... But in the middle of her way she heard a loud sound as if their was a blast.
But then their was smoke coming from the ladies room which alarmed her but she was unable to move, not her fault she was still dealing with her past. She held onto mizu as if her life depends on it and from nowhere Alexa took mizu from her and started to grab her out of the situation, that's when she finally figured out what's happening.
"Let me go, Tiffany is in danger" she pleaded but Alexa couldn't allow her to do it, she must protect the princess and that's what she is for.
"Aadya .." a lowly audible voice of Tiffany was heard and Aadya wasted no time to reach her hand and pulled her into her embrace.
"Do you  remember me saying, I may be mother to mizu but you will be the one to carry her for the life" Aadya one nodded her head slowly understanding everything Tiffany is saying through her hard breathe or maybe last breath.
"It's because I knew this, I knew I will leave you soon. Please take care of my no our daughter. Promise me you'll become the best father" Tiffany raised her hand with a sad smile which Aadya took immediately
"No no no you can't do this to me, let me know what I should do. I'll do everything I can to make you live please don't leave me. Not you too . Please Tiffany" Tiffany just responded with a smile she couldn't help, her mate's soul left his body how could she live with that information she couldn't handle it.
" Then live for me sweety, take care of mizu for me. Take this open it when you think you have lost yourself, when you feel the world has turned their back on you. Believe me I'm always with you and I'll forever be." With that said she placed a chain with a locket shaped in a clover which is her favorite. Aadya will never forget how Tiffany risked her life to save this locket once.
She came to the palace with mizu in her hands, and a lifeless body of Tiffany. After a week she met her mother
"You knew everything didn't you, you knew that she was in danger. You knew she was dieing infront of your eyes yet you didn't care. I've seen you that day. I've seen you in my college" she didn't let her mother Ophelia to speak maybe if so, maybe she would have learnt the truth.
"I knew that you didn't like me being with Tiffany but you could have saved her as a queen, you failed mother as queen and also as a mother."

And then it took Aadya six months to go back to normal, deep inside though she's still broke she is normal for mizu, Her father the world but nobody knows how her mother has been breaking down till date.She left the kingdom now that she is the CEO of her father's textile industry she has bought a new house for her and mizu. She reached the top position in no time.

Present time.....

Only if she knew what is in that locket maybe she would finally relaise who that the person she's searching in the whole world is beside her. But all she thinks is
"Only if I was careful, only if was faster, only if wasn't acting dumb I wouldn't have lost you. I'm sorry I've lost you I'm trying my everything to take care of mizu but she still misses you. She still misses her mother"
Only if she knew who mizu actually was, who the actual parents of mizu were.
