Chapter-12

Wyatt's POV:
STILL IN THE PALACE

We just arrived at the palace, and Mizu is already asleep in my arms. She always make me wonder how I feel like she's my own baby rather than someone else's. I still don't understand the connection between us but I'm sure it's far more than just a friend to a little girl. Just when I'm cooing at Mizu's cuteness here came Justin, wait that's Justin. Oh my god he looks so grown up and strong, nothing like the picture in my mind of how he used to follow me and Aadya with his pacifier in his mouth.
"So this is my brother Justin he'll handle Mizu you can go to meet the king make sure you wait here till I'm back. And say hello to my father from my side." Aadya said taking mizu away from me and giving her to justin, which I really didn't like for some unknown reason but then I'm here to meet the king, king Xavier. Did he find out that I'm Ryann, what if he called me to kill me. I don't want to go.
"I am scared to meet him, I don't think I can" I held Aadya's hand and made a pleading face which I know she won't be able to refuse but guess what tables turned.....
" Chill man my father won't hurt you, especially when you are my boyfriend, what he thinks is . I really want to come with you but I should meet the queen to discuss about Zara and Jenny. Do something, wait near the cabin of the king if you're too afraid to go in I'll come join you after talking to the queen" I simply nodded understanding she's really worried about Zara and Jenny ofcourse she'll be, Zara is our childhood friend and Jenny is her sister. I gave a do your best smile to Zara and spoke out of my mind "I'll do my best sweety" and I widened my eyes in surprise to the reaction from Mizu "don't call pops sweety only Tiffany can do that" but then she kept thinking and thinking and said "but since you are her new boyfriend I don't mind". I was so shocked to hear it but then realised their is no reaction from Aadya and I was more shocked when I found she's not here, speak about vampire speed. I started over to the king's cabin and in the middle of my way I came across the study room where I've practically spent my childhood in. It's the same except for the wallpapers they're yellow with red flowers, but I still remember how this hall used to look I went to where I and Aadya used to sit.

Flashback 1-
Me:why are you writing mine on this sweety...
Her: I don't want anyone else to use or take it from me, help me write mine on what is mine.
She asked forwarding her left hand towards me in which I place my hand and she started to write mine on it.
Me: but why are you writing mine on it.
Her: because you are mine and I'm not sharing even with my brothers.
Me: I know I'm yours I'm saying if you write mine, when they read it they'll think it's theirs and they'll take it.
She gave a I got you look and took my another hand and wrote Aadya and then we went to name all her properties.

END OF FLASHBACK ONE.

I was checking her name carved on one of the bench when suddenly came in " Recalling sweet memories I see" that starled me but I was relieved the moment I found who it was, the twins David and  john whose arms were our childhood beds. They came close to me with their vampire speed and tackled me into a hug but released me because it was hard to breath.
"This hall doesn't look the same anymore, it doesn't look like her at all" I said looking at David but John answered for me.
" Uff do you remember when these kids made fuss for how they want this room to be red even though father was against, how did they say it" And then David made some thinking and started.

Flashback-2

I: But red is beautiful, have you never seen a red sky.
Her: and a yellow moon shining bright.
Xavier: But baby it's different when coloured right. You won't like it.
But still we didn't give up it was first fight against the king Xavier and we won, the fun part is Queen Ophelia said he wrote in his journal that it's the first fight he lost and no one will ever be able to defeat us if we are together.
End of flashback.

"But have you told your sweety, that you are the only one who can call her sweety. Did she recognise you." David kept asking questions which I am not ready to answer I was about to tell them the truth and just then the king came along with someone I'm very much familiar of. That's Mr. Noel he is my stepmothers messenger now I understood how she's getting the every information she wants.
"Oh my boy Ryann, you are finally here. Do you even know how long we have been waiting for you? Now that you are living with Aadya I guess you both had already sorted out things. " No wait that was supposed to be a secret why is he acting like this. I had cut him before he revealed any more secrets further. I'm sure he's been fooled by my mother's assistant, the tricks their species hold.
" Uhh king Xavier, it's not what you think. She doesn't even remember me, I was staying with her because my cousin was not home yet. When he comes back I'll move out" I said with a slight doubt in my voice, after the kiss we shared I'm not sure she doesn't remember me her way of treating me has changed too.
"But what are you waiting for, wait don't tell me you are mad at her you do know because of that curse right" that's true that one curse has been a boon to me for many days.
The curse is when one takes any quantity of  blood of another mate for the first time, they go unconscious still the blood because a part of them. And they tend to forget what happened with their mate till they finally accept their mate for who they are. But till they accept their mate they will always feel the misery of loosing their mate. 

Now that I remember , I just understood where I've left sweety , I've left her with a pain to bear all alone. I couldn't help it my stepmother has made it clear that I was dead to basically Everyone I don't know why the king was still searching for me, maybe it's the queen who made him do it. And even if
"Everyone out! I want to talk alone with Ryann" ok I didn't expect this but didn't he say alone why is this man Mr. Noel still here.
"So Ryann whatever the problem is I'll help you solve it, please if it's for mizu then don't even think because .."
"I'm engaged King Xavier" I have to lie, I have no other way out.
"I'm engaged to a princess who has saved myself in the past, I can't marry anyone besides her please try to understand." I hope he stops

"Why didn't you tell me ? That you were engaged" holy fuck what is Aadya doing here. And out of all she heard was this. Why is life such a misery!!!! .  I just looked at the floor praying a huge hole to appear that can swallow me anywhere.  I don't even get a chance when it comes to situations like this. What is she so aggressive for ? .

Flashback -3
It was a day when a guy proposed me that too infront of Zara and Alexa. Ofcourse I rejected him but he didn't take it and started to come over me. Though Alexa and Zara tried their power to stop him he had hit Jenni the princess and Zara went to her side. Alexa was held back by this guys security guards and he was coming all over me. All I was able to do is pray for her to come to save me, where did she leave in a situation like this. I was moving back until I hit someone who's is built-up in a masculinity that I can never achieve. And I finally understoood I was trapped and this guy was hugging me so tight begging to give him atleast one chance to prove his love. It was getting hard to breath, but then  finally someone pulled him off of me. And I know it's my saviour my sweety.  She punched him so hard before the bodyguards could even reach her, in a way that he coughed blood. Then she elbowed him and placed her hand over his neck from the back engulfing him into a tight grip
"Never-ever" then she jumped with him in his hands and "touch" suddenly slammed him to the ground "what's mine" she was raging with anger that even her brothers got scared to clam her down but I was forced to go to her because every one know I'm the only water to her fire.
"Calm down sweety" I tried to reach her but she only answered
"Did you get that" followed by an Alpha growl that made everyone to bow to her in agreement.  Never had I ever imagined she would use her Alpha power this openly.
She took my hand, no not just hand she actually carried me bridal style to a place inside the forest and made me sit down.
"How the fucking hell did you allow him such close to you ?" What it's not my fault I was fighting him too.
"What makes you think I was having fun when he was close to me?" At this point I know my voice sounds broke and I'm teary too but she isn't treating me right.
"Why didn't you call me then? You should have just called my name I would have come to you. You didn't, did you" her voice is getting softer and softer while my whimpers are getting louder and louder. She started to hug me and rub my back when I broke in to tears finally, I couldn't hold it back not when she blames me for nothing.
"I'm sorry, I was scared someone else was closer to you. Someone else was forcing you and I wasn't even their to protect you." She started to cry which took me by surprise because the last time she cried was like three years ago.
"You aren't late but, you are a little cool when you hit him. I thought you would kill him. Thank God you stopped" I said rubbing my eyes trying to change the topic.
" I'm sorry, but next please call me even if you think you are in danger. I can't afford your tears for nothing. You do know how important you are to me right" I chuckled knowing how hard  she's trying to comfort me,
"But then, what makes you think I'll leave someone alive if they hurt you" well I know this I'm sure that guy idk the name of is currently fighting to stay alive.
" I'll let you know, not just when I'm in trouble even if you ever need me too, I'll be the first to ask for it" She will never ask for help so I just promised that I will ask the permission to help her. What am I even.

We drove back home, she held my hand in an aggressive manner and pulled me out of the study hall leaving the king alone, which took me by surprise because Aadya is never disrespectful towards the king. Just when we reached the mansion, She was pulling me so roughly that I couldn't handle it anymore.

"Aadya you are hurting me"

"But you are the one who is hurting me more"
