Aadya's POV:

"Did you kill my mother?" Mizu asked me. No i didn't, i was just unable to save her.

"I couldn't protect her, it was late before i reached her." I don't have to say this to a kid, would she understand these big words, burden of emotions.

"But you are never late normally, why? is it because we slaves are not worth your time?"

"Why are you speaking like this Ryan? "

"Does the truth hurt? You could have saved her had you really treated equally with all of your other friends? Am i wrong? You first lie about her name now how do you expect me to believe you have actually tried?" But I didn't even knew her name was mary to begin with.

"My mother's name is not Tiffany?"

"It's not mizu, your mother's name is mary and she was an angel, why don't you tell her aadya?" I can feel the bitterness in his voice

"Sweety i didn't knew it myself, your mom herself said she was Tiffany a fallen angel. I never questioned her anything she wasn't comfortable to talk about. Mizu please baby go to alexa we will talk later"

"Why are you afraid, because she'd hate you? Would she hate you if she knows the real you? Show her aadya show her who you really are? How ruthless you truly are?"

"Don't speak about my mom you peasant!" Mizu yelled. What? Peasant?

"Mizu! Manners. You should not speak to your dad like that." Dad? When?

"He's not worth it mom, he is not worth your explanation. How could he speak like that to you? Is he really your mate or is this some black magic you always warn me about?"

"Baby stop. He's sad. He lost his sister in law, she was like a mother to him. Do you believe me?" She nodded her head, making me tear up.

"That's enough for me baby. Can you please go to Lexy for now let me talk to dad yeah." She gave one last glance to Ryan as she left with the cupcakes she brought for him.

"Ryan please calm down and listen to me, I was with her at the time but it happened so fast i couldn't do anything."

"So you mean you couldn't save her even though you were right beside her? Great! Mizu should have heard this."

"Mizu knows! Stop digging the hole she can barely cover. Do you even know how hurt she was right now? Do anything Ryan stay away from mizu, because, because if something happens to her i don't think I'd even think before i kill you."

"She knows?"

"She does! Her mother left her a dairy, she herself said she didn't want to live anymore. You have no idea how it effects her, Everyday as she grows up and learns to feel different emotions she's getting closer to feel the pain her mother did. Her mother committed suicide Ryan, please stop for the little girl sake."

"You are lying, mary would never do that, why? are you over with all of your lies, so now you come with new ones?"

"Please she's my, she was my, she gave me mizu and mizu is my everything right now. Why do you think I'll lie about it."

"Let my sister's wedding be done, I'll deal with you later."

"Please Ryan, for mizu's sake. Let's talk about it when we get back home. Please. I promise you can do whatever you want once we are back home. Let the wedding be over."

"Sure, but not for you. But for my sister's sake. Get ready and join me, i don't want to spoil my sister's mood oh her special day." I shouldn't have given the locket today. What have I done? I should have let him know about Tiffany slowly.
