It seemed that Loki had sent the creature to kill his own brother. But why? What drove him to seek Thor's death so fiercely that he would annihilate an entire town—yet spare her? The question swirled in Jane's mind as she stood on the ground in Midgard, gazing up at the sky, waiting for Thor to return. Why had he spared her? He had no reason to.

She stared at the dark, gray clouds, swirling ominously like a tempest. The sky seemed to foretell an impending storm. In the past, such weather would have frightened her, but now she understood that this particular storm signaled the arrival of beings from another realm. She reflected on the days when she had met John and realized that someone else might have entered Midgard back then as well. Perhaps it had been Thor? No, he had seemed too unfamiliar with the customs of her world. Maybe it was Odin? But why would the Allfather leave Asgard to come to Earth?

Then there was Loki. Perhaps he knew more about her than she knew about him, so he had spared her. The thought both intrigued and unsettled her. She pondered whether she had ever encountered him and how he might appear. Would he look as vicious and grotesque as she imagined? Most likely.

In that moment, she made a promise to herself—and to Thor—that if she ever crossed paths with Loki, she would hate him with every fiber of her being.

Loki led his biological father, Laufey, into Odin's chamber, a twisted plan forming in his mind. He watched as the Frost Giant loomed over the unconscious Odin, preparing to strike with an ice blade.

"It's said you can still see and hear what transpires around you, even in this state. I hope that's true, so you can know your death comes by the hand of Laufey." The blade began to rise, a cruel smile on Laufey's face.

But Loki had waited long enough. He unleashed a powerful blast from Gungnir, striking the Frost Giant and sending him crashing to the ground.

"And your death comes by the son of Odin," Loki declared, pride swelling in his chest as he fired another shot, obliterating Laufey. The Jotun King vanished into nothingness.

As Loki defeated the remaining Frost Giants, Frigga rushed to him, enveloping him in a desperate embrace. "You saved us!" she exclaimed, relief flooding her voice.

"I swear to you, Mother, they will pay for what they've done today. I will end the Jotun threat, now and forever!" He turned back to Odin, still unconscious. "And I will make you proud."

Loki envisioned a future where the people of Asgard celebrated him for bringing peace by eradicating the Frost Giants. But that moment of triumph was fleeting.

"Loki!" Thor's voice boomed through the chamber, cutting through the tension like a knife. His brother stood there, the embodiment of everything Loki resented.

"Thor!" Frigga rushed to him, her joy palpable. "I knew you'd find a way back to us."

Loki's gaze fell on Thor's hammer. "Found its way back to you, did it?" he retorted, sarcasm dripping from his words.
