"ugh it feels like we haven't been home in months" Jesse exclaimed collapsing onto the sofa
"that's because we haven't been" I giggled walking towards our backdoor "oh my god Jess quick come here" I shout
"what's going on?" he shouted running to our back garden
"SURPRISE!" everyone shouted
"oh my god did you do this?" Jesse questioned me
"of course Jess we're all so proud of you I thought I'd organise a party to show you how much we love you!" I replied giving him a kiss.
After a lot of laughter and chatting I got everyones attention "so I got our families here to celebrate how well Jesse did and how hard he's worked, but we actually have something else to tell you" I announced
"you're pregnant you slut!" my cousin Jake shouted and everyone laughed
"I've literally got wine in my hand I'm not pregnant" I laughed
"okay so what we're trying to tell you guys is that... we're engaged!" Jesse shouted and everyone started to cheer and shout
"so where's the ring?" Sarah asked wiggling her eyebrows
"right here! Jesse designed it with Tiffany himself" I said pulling it out of my pocket
"oh my god Lucy that ring nearly gave me a heart attack its stunning!" Gabby joked
"well you better get married before I have a heart attack thats for sure" Grandma warned laughing
"but hey everyone! If someone announces or tells anyone else before I do I'll kill you!" I shouted half joking half serious
"when you thinking of getting married then?" Kirsty asked
"well it'll have to be during footballer wedding season" I rolled my eyes sarcastically "but I'm not sure if it should be in 2019 or 2021, because 2020 will just be too busy with the euro's" I said
"I think you shouldn't rush anything" Jasper responded
"and why's that mister?" I asked
"so that I can go to Jesse's stag do" he explained and we all burst out laughing
