The Next Day
-LIA-
I could feel a dull ache pulsating between my legs as I slowly fluttered my eyes open and the events of the night before filled my head. Almost instantly, a smile crept onto my lips and I let out a delighted sigh as my eyes locked with my handsome husband's dark brown orbs.
"Mornin' gorgeous," he said in a sexy, low voice that sent goosebumps trailing over my skin. "How'd you sleep?"
"Amazing," I blushed. "How about you?"
"Well, it was alright, but I was a little too excited to wake back up and get to see my beautiful, sexy wife again," he winked at me and lifted the covers to peep underneath as my cheeks burned hotter.
"J!" I shoved him playfully before I ran my fingers along his stubbled jaw. "I'd kiss you, but I need to brush my teeth. Do you think they might have a couple extras in the bathroom?"
"No, but I already beat you to it," he smiled and reached behind him before he handed me a pack of tiny single-use toothbrushes that advertised they didn't require water or rinsing. "I made a little pit stop down to the little guest shop and did some shopping for the toiletries. I also got us some touristy I heart Boston sweatsuits." I turned to see him pointing to the black and white matching outfits hanging on the outside of the wardrobe across from us as I wiped the mini brush over my teeth to fend off any hints of morning breath. "I figured that was better than your ball gown."
"You've been a busy man, Mr. Knight," I smiled. "That was very thoughtful of you, thank you."
"Well, it was kinda selfish too, I didn't want you to have any excuses to get out of bed," he smiled as he lightly took the now-used mini toothbrush from my hand and leaned into kiss me.
Regardless of how many times he'd captured me in his arms and brushed his lips against mine, I still got butterflies every now and then and at this exact moment, I really did feel like a giddy, blushing bride.
It was unfathomable for me to believe that we'd had our start in this very room all those years ago and I'd fallen far more in love with him now than I ever could've imagined was possible back then.
In fact, it'd been in this very room that Jordan had asked me if I believed in falling in love and I'd told him flat-out no.
I couldn't be more happy to have been proved wrong a million times over.
"You're incredible, you know that?" Jordan whispered and cradled my cheeks.
"So are you, inside and out, do you know that?" I whispered back.
He smiled before pulling me close and deepening the kiss, "You think so?" Jordan ran his fingers through my hair and I nuzzled into him, burying my face in his chest.
"I do and I'd show you, but I think I got a bit carried away last night," I blushed.
Jordan softened and stroked my cheek, "Are you sore?"
"A little, but it was worth it," I said as the sexy vision of his more aggressive side replayed in my head. "I like it when you manhandle me every now and then and let me see all of your hot and bothered masculine desire without holding anything back. It makes me feel really sexy just knowing I can bring that out in you."
Jordan lightly ran his hands up and down my torso before resting his palm just above my throbbing core. "Still, I don't want you hurting, baby. I thought I might've gotten a little too rough with you so I got something that'll help with that."
