"Drop me off at the cemetery,"Alyssa ordered. Derek looked towards her, but she didn't look back at him. He did as she asked and dropped her off. "I'll walk home," she added. The girl quickly rushed through the tall gates before the agent could say anything else. Alyssa could hear the sound of the car drive away after a few seconds of hesitation. She felt a little bad. However, her feelings of anger overpowered her guilt. She walked down the stone path and towards her mother's grave, where the flowers began to wilt and droop to the floor. She scanned the graveyard to see another girl standing by a grave on the other side. A young girl about Alyssa's age, with blonde hair. Alyssa's eyes narrowed as she tried to identify the girl. Alison. Today could not get any worse. Alison noticed the girl and waved over to her and gestured her to come over. The girl walked over to her and greeted Alison.

"Hi," Alison said sweetly, tugging on her denim jacket.

"Hey," Alyssa said back to her, looking at the gravestone in front of Alison

"My mom and sister, they died when I was only a baby," Alison told her, which made Alyssa feel a whole lot worse than she did already.

"I'm sorry," Alyssa apologized

"Who were you visiting?"

"My mom too,"

"How old were you?"

"13" Alyssa told her. When she thought about it ,she couldn't believe it had almost been a year since the death of her mother.

"Oh, sorry. I guess that's worse."

"Don't worry about it,"

"I hope you don't mind me asking but...How did she die?" Alison asked. How was Alyssa supposed to respond to that. Both their mothers die within the hands of Scott Hills. Alyssa hesitated, struggling on what to say. Lie or tell the truth. She didn't know.

"Cancer," Alyssa lied. Alison could never know who she really was. Alyssa would've asked about Alison's mom and sister, but she already knew the answer.

"My mom and my sister were murdered,"

"I'm so sorry. Who was it?" Alyssa asked, already knowing. She desperately wanted to leave, but she knew she couldn't without hurting Alison's feelings.

"Someone named Scott Hills. Apparently, he was a serial killer. I don't know that much about him. All I know is that he killed other families, and the police killed him a few months ago. Have you ever heard of him?" Alison asked her.

"Maybe once or twice. I don't know much about it either. "

Not long after, Alyssa gained the courage to say goodbye. It was getting late, and she knew Derek would start to worry about her. She walked down the street, which always seemed to be dead. She entered the house and found Derek sat on the couch in the living room watching the TV. He turned to see her.

"Alyssa, we need to talk," he said

"Can't, too tired. I'm going to bed, " Alyssa said, rushing off to her room before he could reply back. Alyssa slammed the door behind her, resisting the tears coming from her eyes. She felt so alone. The girl searched through the compartment in her end table by her bed, where she pulled out her 'Book of Memories'. She scrolled through the pages, gazing at the pictures, remembering each moment. She wished that her mother was here, she'd do anything to get her back. After returning it to its rightful place, she crawled into bed and fell asleep.
