The annoying sound of Sohyun’s alarm blaring into her ears woke her up. She stretched her arm out from underneath the warm protective blanket to slam her hand down on the snooze button. A smile appeared on her lips from the peaceful silence as she rolled over and closed her eyes again, going back into a blissful sleep. Which didn’t last long as her alarm started to ring again after five minutes, telling her to wake up.

A groan escaped her mouth as she threw the blankets off of her body angrily. Sohyun sat up, letting her feet sink into the fluffy thick white carpet. Her hair was tangled on one side. It looked similar to intertwined thin branches that made the shelter of a nest for a bird. This was a symbol of being well rested without any difficulties. Sohyun wondered how long that would last.

Turning the alarm off and wiping the drool from her cheek and jaw, Sohyun got up and entered the bathroom.

After taking a shower and washing her hair, she knew that a comb wasn’t going to get that knot out easily, she stepped in front of the mirror as she blow dried her hair. Slightly faded bright colorful strands of hair blew loosely around her face.

It was already the second week of Sohyun going to work and she already felt exhausted. Not a great start for just getting a job. She wondered how long this job thing would last or if it was something permanent. Was it for experience, just to try something out or a long term thing? If it kept Sohyun’s inner thoughts at bay, stopping it from gnawing too deep into her brain and heart, then Sohyun looked at it as something permanent, no matter how exhausting.

Sohyun put her hair up in a bun, strands of hair falling down in front of her face. She put on the casual clothes she left on the sink. After checking herself in the mirror quickly one last time, she left her house and started her walk to the restaurant.

Sohyun’s body automatically bounced as she walked along the sidewalk. Each step in a rhythmical pattern, naturally avoiding the cracks in the sidewalk. The bright light proved from the awakening sun that peeked over the horizon shined onto her figure and reflected off of the objects around her. Her loose strands of hair danced around with the wind as a cool breeze passed in her direction.

A rapturous smile was drawn onto her lips. It looked like she was gleaming, beaming with happiness. Which was kind of ironic because of her messy past that still affected her daily life. Sohyun’s inner thoughts clashed with the persona and aroma she had. Her glowing smile caused a smile onto others faces when they passed her, which surprised Sohyun. She never thought she could bring a smile to others faces since she was always used to bringing the exact opposite.

On the opposite of her was Jin’s Preeminent. Sohyun waited for a black dusty car to pass before walking across the street. She wrapped her fingers around the cold metal door handle and slipped into the restaurant.

As soon as she walked in her eyes connected to Namjoon’s glistening light brown eyes, the light shining in from the windows made the black detailed lines in his eye stand out.

Namjoon stood in the middle of the restaurant while everyone was scattered around him. His nonchalant face structure, which looked as if he was discussing something important but Sohyun disturbed the conversation, broke as a smile appeared on his face as he looked at Sohyun.

“Sohyun, you’re finally here. I have a task for you. That is, if you don’t mind doing it,” Namjoon said.

“What is it?” Sohyun asked.

“I would appreciate it if you and Yoongi could get us some coffee from the coffee shop down across the street,” Namjoon said.

“I can go by myself, Namjoon,” Yoongi said.
