Taehyung was sitting at a table next to a window, several feet away from the entrance door that led in and out of the restaurant. In front of him was his laptop, beside it a steaming cup of fresh coffee. Taehyung opened to a clear browser and moved his cursor to the search bar. He let his long slim fingers swiftly dance over the keyboard. His eyes lit up as he looked at all the links and pictures that appeared on the screen. The pictures on the right side of the screen showed different pictures of a girl that resembled Sohyun, but younger and with long brown hair. Taehyung guessed those happy, innocent pictures were before the incident. There were also a couple of pictures of a boy around the same age as Sohyun then. One picture that really caught his eyes was the same boy laying on the floor, blood exiting his body. White outlines, measurements, and yellow tape crowding the small, gloomy room.

His interest peaked even more as he scrolled through the articles and stories related to the topic he searched.

Taehyung’s nose scrunched up by the generic, unoriginal lame names. He clicked on the fourth link, it seeming promising. Once the article loaded, Taehyung becoming disappointed by how short its length was, his eyes quickly glued themselves to the screen as they soaked up each word and every little detail.

After seventeen-year-old Che Sohyun had been missing for a week, there was some unexpected news that suddenly appeared about her. The excitement, along with anxiousness, to hear something about the case quickly left everyone disturbed by the outcome of things, which no one expected.

Che Sohyun was a student at SC Central High School. She was last seen at school with her friend, Jaehyun, as they left together. After that, she wasn’t seen again. Her parents, being worried and not able to get in touch with their daughter, called the police and immediately set out to search for her. After a week the police got an interesting phone call.

It was Che Sohyun, she had called the police and told them where she was. Once the police made it to where she said she was, they entered a house. Going upstairs in the first room to continue searching the house, the officers sent there were surprised and disturbed by the scene in front of them.

There stood Sohyun next to a bed with a bloody knife in her hand. An unconscious body laid out in front of her, later to be known as Jaehyun, the victim’s two stab wounds leaking out his scarlet red liquid. After being put in an ambulance, on his way to the hospital for more proper care, he ended up dying in the ambulance. The police took Sohyun in and locked her up. After her trial in court, Che Sohyun was found guilty and sentenced to jail.

Che Sohyun was known for doing well academically in school, being in the top ten of her class. Not afraid to express herself and beliefs, students found that Sohyun was a calm collected and nice person. Her personality made it easy for everyone to talk to her and befriend her. Her peers and others that knew her found it shocking that she would do such a thing. The case still confuses police today as they still don’t know why she killed her supposedly best friend. They haven’t found any strong motive but evidence and her testimony prove that she’s to hold for Jaehyun’s murder.
