Jin snuck into Namjoon’s office quietly and sat on his desk. Namjoon was so engrossed to what was on his computer screen that he didn’t notice Jin until he swung his leg out and hit his thigh.

Namjoon jumped back in his chair, then calming down when he saw Jin. “When did you get here? Why can’t you guys knock instead of scaring me?”

“Because your scared face is entertaining. Anyway, I came in here to ask some questions. Not the other way around,” Jin said.

Namjoon spun his chair around so that his body was facing Jin. “And what’s that?”

“I'm starting to really question you. First, you want to hire someone off the street-”

“I didn’t find her off the street.”

“Oh, right. You found her by her criminal case. Am I right? You found her criminal file interesting. That’s the only reason I can explain why you wanted her to join. Yes, I know SK Assassin recruits criminals sometimes but I never expected you to recruit one."

Namjoon crossed his arms. “Do you have a problem with Sohyun?”

Jin stared at the floor quietly before talking again. “Well, no. But she does have a problem with running into doors. And it only happens when I’m opening the door. I’m starting to think she’s doing it on purpose.”

“Have you ever thought that maybe you’re the cause of her running into the doors? I’ve gotten multiple complaints about you with doors,” Namjoon stated.

“I didn’t come in here to talk about doors, Namjoon. I’m telling you, they just walk too close!” Jin exclaimed.

Namjoon patted Jin’s knee. “It’s ok, Jin. This seems like a sensitive topic. We can talk about it later. Go on with your other question.”

“Why did you choose Yoongi as Sohyun’s partner? He’s probably the worst person to chose. No, scratch that. He is the worst person you could have chosen.”

Why is everyone questioning my decisions, Namjoon though, starting to get annoyed by these questions.

“I think Sohyun can change his outlook on women. That not every woman is like Minu. Sohyun is the exact opposite of Minu, which is perfect. You know how they say, opposites attract. Like magnets.”

“I don’t know about that.”

“Look, I noticed that Yoongi was purposely avoiding her. He was the only one who didn’t try to talk to her. I don’t want Yoongi to feel like he needs to act like that to anyone. Even though Yoongi doesn’t like her he was still nice enough to give her a donut. A donut that he got for himself. I can work off of that little piece of respect and turn it into an abundance. But if this doesn't work out then we’ll stay as a guy unit permanently.”

“So you’re aware of this whole plan failing?” Jin asked.

Namjoon smiled, amused by his simple-minded friend. “Of course I do, Jin. But I highly doubt it. But of course, there’s still that possibility.”

✴✴✴

It was Saturday, the day the plan would be put into play. After working for hours in the restaurant, Yoongi and Sohyun went to headquarters to get ready for their mission.

Sohyun held up a circular hand mirror as she looked at herself, her other hand pulling her red sparkly mid-thigh length dress down. She felt uncomfortable and embarrassed in the dress as it was too short and skin-revealing for her liking.

Her lips were painted with a bright blood red lipstick, standing out from the rest of her simple makeup. Sohyun felt out of her comfort zone. To others, her makeup may not have been much but to Sohyun it was. She felt vulnerable, out on display, standing out. For years she tried to avoid that and to keep a low profile but now she was basically asking for attention with the outfit she was wearing.
