When Sohyun came into the restaurant the next morning she went straight to cleaning the tables since they didn’t do any cleaning yesterday before they left. Sohyun glanced over her shoulder when she heard the door open. Her bright hazel eyes were met with Yoongi’s dark solemn ones. She averted her eyes away from him as she continued cleaning.

Sohyun felt thin cold boney fingers wrap around her wrist. She looked down to see a pale, slightly red, veiny hand wrapped around her slightly more colored skin. Sohyun’s eyes traveled up the hand to see Yoongi looking at her.

Sohyun pulled her wrist back, trying to make Yoongi let go. The contact of human skin made her anxious. Doing this didn’t make Yoongi let go though, he kept his hand wrapped around her wrist.

“What do you want?” Sohyun asked.

A smile appeared on his face from the question. His intense features became more lively and pleasant, but Sohyun knew it was a devious smile.

“Did you forget already?” Yoongi tilted his head slightly. “I have to train you. We’re going to headquarters.”

“But what about the-”

“Don’t worry about your shift. The others can handle it,” Yoongi said as he dragged Sohyun toward the door.

Sohyun dropped the rag she was using to wipe the table, stumbling as she tried to keep up with Yoongi. She closed her eyes from the sudden gust of wind and bright light from the sun landing in her direction when they stepped outside.

Yoongi stopped in front of a small dark blue car that was parked in front of the restaurant. He let go of Sohyun’s wrist as he fished his car keys out of his pocket and unlocked the car. Yoongi walked over to the driver’s side, getting ready to get in when he noticed Sohyun not moving. He rested his arm on top of the car as he looked at her.

“Get in,” he said before plopping in the car seat and slamming the door shut.

Sohyun let out a breath of air, wondering how this day was going to end since she was going to be with Yoongi. She opened the car door, sliding into the smooth light brown leather seat. Her eyes glanced around at the navy blue and brown interior. The inside was neat and clean, not a speck of dust or crumb to be seen. Sohyun liked the color combination, it fitted together nicely.

As Yoongi started the car, the radio blasted from the speakers, vibrating Sohyun’s seat. The familiar relaxing, but depressing, rock band flooded Sohyun’s ear. A smile appeared on her face from what she called ‘pleasant music’, which others would think differently from listening to the lyrics and tone. But Sohyun saw it as they didn’t understand. The harsh words and screams had a deeper meaning, emotion, only if they tried to find it instead of quickly judging it.

Yoongi flinched at the sudden sound, even though he’d been listening to it on his way to the restaurant. He quickly reached his hand out to turn the volume all the way down, embarrassed that he forgot to turn it off.

Sohyun’s lips curved into a bigger smile. “You like heavy metal?”

Yoongi glanced at her, immediately stripping his eyes away from her and down at the steering wheel. “Uh, yeah.”

Sohyun turned the volume back up at a reasonable level. “So do I. Looks like we have something in common,” Sohyun said as she sat back in her seat.

Yoongi was embarrassed that his music was blasting out loud, Sohyun could tell. Not because of the song, but the genre. It seemed that he was self-conscious about others knowing his taste in music, causing him to become quiet. Sohyun preferred him shy and quiet instead of him being bold and insolent.
