Plot: Based off of the episode 31 fragman and izleme - Sanem gets hit by a car and Can goes to the hospital to meet Yigit.

Sanem knew the car accident had been her fault. Like always, she hadn't been watching where she was going, and the car hadn't had enough time to stop before she stepped out onto the pavement. From Yigit's behalf, the car accident was exactly what it constituted – an accident.

In situation's like her current, Sanem had heard of hit and runs and big lawsuits where the person in the car would sue the pedestrian for emotional and physical distress. However, Yigit had been the complete opposite. Soon after hitting her, he'd ran out of his car and demanded that he drive her to the hospital as soon as possible. He apologised, frequently, and all Sanem could do was meekly smile through the pain resonating in her forehead and legs. She knew he didn't need to be saying sorry, but she couldn't say so in her words. All Sanem could do was let him carry her into the hospital, her eyes falling in and out of consciousness.

"Would you like me to call anybody?"

"Abla ... Leyla." Sanem had managed to choke out whilst pointing to her phone.

Even whilst doctors were tending to her injuries, Yigit refused to leave her side, which Sanem was surprisingly grateful for. After learning of Can's decision to leave for the Balkan's with Polen, her heart felt like it had completely shattered. They – her and Can – had overcome many obstacles but Sanem had always fought for them. She had always been persistent, had even followed him all the way to Ağva, but Can had been outraged and Sanem knew there was nothing else that she could do to save them. The ball was now in Can's court and he had refused to play and that killed Sanem more than anything – that he wasn't willing to fight for her like she had for him. And, that thought made her feel incredibly lonely. A darkness had settled over her and paired with the physical pain she was feeling, Sanem felt like she was destined for an abyss of nothingness.

However, Sanem was strangely glad that Yigit was there. He knew nothing about her and that was refreshing. Unlike Leyla and CeyCey, he wasn't going to put pressure on her to fight for Can because honestly, Sanem had no fight left in her. All she wanted to do was have some minimal small talk with the tall stranger and fall into a blissful sleep where she could hide from the tragedy that had become her love life.

"Your sister is on her way." The guy, Yigit, sat beside her, his hand gently holding onto Sanem's wrist once the doctors had left. Thankfully, she only had a mild concussion and would be discharged the following day. "Sanem, I am really sorry. I wasn't-"

"Don't apologise." With a little more energy in her, Sanem reassured Yigit that it was okay. She wasn't angry at him; he had done nothing wrong. And in that moment, Sanem could see the relief on Yigit's face, it was like a heavy load had lifted off his chest. "It was my fault."

"It wasn't your fault, it was my fault."

From there onwards, the pair bickered about how the accident had unfolded. It wasn't anything serious ... it was all light-hearted and Sanem actually found herself smiling through her agony. Yigit had a comedic flare and it was like Sanem had her own personal comedian whilst she rested up. He had even taken to acting out a dramatization to prove that he had been the cause of the accident.

Whilst Sanem smiled through her pain on one side of Istanbul, on the other, Leyla was unable to think properly. Once getting the call from the stranger about Sanem's accident, she had fallen into a chair in shock. She didn't know the severity of the accident or if Sanem was okay and her heart felt like it was beating a thousand beats per minute. The silent tears began to well in her eyes and it wasn't until Emre walked into her office that they began to fall.
