(Joey's POV)

I was worried the rain would ruin my plan.

Thankfully where I set up the picnic was covered so no rain could get in it.

And the rain had stopped so even better.

We arrived at the park finally.

I got out the car and went to open the door for Melody.

"My lady"I extended my arm

"Wow Birlem"she laughed

I laughed with her

"I'm gonna need you to put this on"I said handing her a blindfold

"Defenitly not weird"she said with a smile

Her smile is honestly beautiful.

I helped her put the blindfold on and grabbed her hand.

I took her to where I had the little picnic set up.

"Okay now you can take it off"I said nervous

I don't know if she's gonna like it or not.What if she gets mad?!

Oh no.

She took the blindfold off and stared in awe

I'm guessing that's a good sign

"Oh my"she said

"This is so cute"she smiled at me

"It's not elegant or enough bu-"I said as she cut me off

"Uh excuse me this is more than enough it's super super cute"she said with another smile

I got shocked.

Most girls that I would take out would say that this isn't enough and it's terrible.

"It is"I asked confused

"Of course it is"she said

She then came up to me and gave me a hug

I then return the hug.

She was small compared to me.

It's cute.

(Melody's POV)

When Joey told me we were gonna hang out I didn't expect a cute picnic at this nice park.

I was shocked.

I loveeeeee picnics.

It's just so nice.

I never thought Joey would be this type of guy being honest.

He does have a soft spot and it's very cute.

I was literally smiling like an idiot the whole time.

I then found myself hugging Joey.

The feeling being in his arms was comfortable.

He smelled amazing

"Well thankyou"he said

I got confused at that.I don't want to let go of him.

"We can stay like this then"he said

Oh my god.

He can read my mind

"Melody no,I can't read your mind but I can hear"he laughed

"Oh god I said that out loud"I said embarrassed

He just kept laughing at me

I shot him a playful glare

"You should've seen it was hilarious"Joey said as both of us were laughing

"I bet ya it was"I laughed

We were now just telling each other random stories that happened to us that were funny

"Joey"I said

"Yeah"he said

"Thankyou for this it was really amazing"I said smiling

"No problem Melody,it was amazing hanging out with you"He said

"I hadn't had this kind of fun in a long time"I said with a low voice as I looked down

"Hey what's wrong"he asked

"Nothing Joey I'm all good"I said giving him a not so convincing smile

"I know there's something wrong Melody.You know you can talk to me"he said with a serious voice

"I know Joey and thankyou for that but I can't tell you just not yet"I said

His face looked sad

"It's not that I don't trust you"
"It's a hard topic for me talk about"I told him

"I understand"he said with a small smile

He then grabbed both of my hands and looked into my eyes

"You're not getting rid of me anytime soon, so I can wait until you're ready to tell me"he said with a small laugh

"I think I know that"I laughed

I then started shaking since it was cold and my dumbass didn't bring a jacket.

Joey looked at me and he took off his hoodie

"Here have my hoodie"he says

"No no you keep it"I said

"But you could get sick.Look at you,you're shaking a lot."He says

"And you could get sick too and I care about you so you keep it"I said

Oh my.....

I just told him I cared about him.

He's probably gonna think I'm weird.

(Joey's POV)
I looked at Melody and saw that she was shaking a lot.

So I decided to give her my hoodie.

"Here have my hoodie"I said

"No no you keep it"she said

"But you could get sick.Look at you,you're shaking a lot."I told her

"And you could get sick too and I care about you so you keep it"she said

She said that she cared about me....I was shocked...No one really cares about me besides my family...

"And I care about you,so you put this on"I told her

"And I'm not gonna take no for an answer"I added

She then sighed and put my hoodie on.

She looked cute in it,since it fit her loose.

I stared at her in awe.

"You look cute with my hoodie on princess"I said

I then saw her blush

Cute.

"Thanks Birlem"she said with a giggle

"It's getting dark.We should get going."I suggested

"Yes sir"she said

I just laughed

God...spending time with her was amazing
