(Joey's POV)
I put my right hand on her cheek and I leaned in...but she backed out

"Uh I'm sorry I got to go"she said as she got up to grab her phone and shoes

Fuck.

I was gonna kiss her....

Im dumb thinking she was gonna kiss back..

Just great.

(Melody's POV)

When I woke up from my nap I saw Joey staring at me.

Why though,it's not like there is anything to admire.

We had a really small talk...then he placed his right hand on my cheek and started to lean in....I backed out.

I got panicked.

"Uh I'm sorry I got to go"I said as I got up to grab my phone and shoes

I quickly put my shoes on and left
That was so embarrassing.

Ugh.

I'm at home now thinking about what happened with Joey.

I heard Jake knock at my door.

I got from my bed an opened.

I let him in and went back to sit down at my bed.

"I thought you were staying at Joey's"he said

I just shook my head

"Ti ha fatto qualcosa"He asked seriously

"No"I said

"What happened then?"he asked

"I don't know I just wanted to come home"I said

"Alright"he said

"Oh and I bought pizza it's downstairs"he told me

"Ouuuuu pizza"I say getting up fast and heading downstairs

I love food.

I go to the kitchen and go to the cabinet to grab a plate.

Once I grab the plate I went to the table where the pizza was.

I opened the box and started drooling.

No I didn't actually drool.

I got 2 slices and put it on my plate.I then sat on the chair and started eating my pizza.

I saw I got a message so I opened it.

First I wiped my hands so I wouldn't  get any pizza on it.

It was Joey who texted me

(Melody)
(Joey)

"Sorry about what happend."
"It was all a mistake"

Ouch.

"It's all good Joey

"You sure?"

"yea"
"I got to go so see you tomorrow"

I actually didn't but I felt kinda hurt after he said it was all a mistake.I'm so sensitive.I hate that.

"Goodnight princess"

I didn't answer and left him on read.

I put my phone down and sighed.

I saw Chase coming my way.

"You okay?"he asked and got a slice of pizza

"Not really but it's all good"I said with another sigh

"Talk to me"He said

"And well that's all"I say

"Damn sounds..."He said as he thought of a word on how to describe what I just told him

"Don't think to hard"I say with a laugh

"C'mon let go play some video games to get things off your mind for a bit"he said

"Alright"I said

Chase is one of Jake's friend.

He is another person I'm really close to.

He has helped Jake and I though our toughest moments.

He's family.I'm also close to Connor but not as much as Chase.

Jake,Connor,Chase and Chole are literally the only people I have.

What about Asher or Joey you ask?

I don't know honestly....

First one distances themselves from me and the other takes me to a cute picnic.

Second the one that distanced themselves from me,texts me back and acts like nothing happend,and the one who surprised me with a picnic just said"it was all a mistake"

I don't get boys....

It is 2:00 in the morning.

Chase had left 2 hours ago.

And Jake went to sleep.

I heard droplets.

I looked outside to see rain.

I realize I'm still wearing Joey's hoodie.

I get from my bed and go to my window and open it.

The sound of rain calms me.

I should be sleeping right now but my thoughts won't let me.

Only if dad or mom were here.

I could always tell them my problems...

Now I mostly keep everything to myself.

I felt like just curling up into a ball and staying like that while shutting everything and everyone out.

I felt a warm tear rush down my right cheek.

I don't know.

I want to runaway.

I went to my phone and called Asher.....
