(Melody's POV)

I'm at the hospital still...waiting for Jake to wake up.

Why do these things always happen to me...life defenitly hates me.

Joey came to see how Jake was doing which was nice of him to do.

He is currently out to get some food although I told him I don't want any but who knows if he does...

Last time I was like this was 2 years ago when my parents passed away...I wouldn't eat or sleep.I would just stay at my room locked up not wanting to talk to anyone.

I hear the door handle turn and saw Joey carrying some bags.

He closes the door slowly and looks at me smiling showing me the bags in his hands.

"I got you some Jack in the Box"he said handing me the bags

"What are you gonna eat"I said

"Nothing I'm not hungry"he said

"What did you eat?"I asked

"An apple"he said

"That's not enough Joey"I said

"Its fine Melody"he said

"Want some"I say showing him the bags

"No I'm fine,that's for you now eat"he told me

"Here have some"I say as I hand him my french fries

He shook his head

"Please"I looked at him

He gave in and grabbed the fries...hehe

Joey left and hour ago since his mom needed him.

It was nice to have some company.

I look over to Jake who was still the same and not waking up.....

Only if I was there...I could've done something...

I decided to leave the hospital and go home to take a shower.

So I left Melody and Jake about and hour ago.

I felt bad for her...she has gone through so much...she doesn't deserve any of this.

I heard my mom call my name from downstairs.I get up from my bed and head downstairs.

"Yea"I say

I see my mom sitting in the living room

"Sit"she says

I go over to the couch and sit down.

"What's up"I say

"Who's Chole?"she asks

"Uh a girl in my school"I say

"Her parents came over today while you were at the hospital with Jake"she said

"What did they say?"i asked

"That she's pregnant Joey"she said
"Like come on Jo.You know to use protection"she says shaking her head while putting her palm on her forehead

My eyes widen

NO NO NO

My mom looks at my reaction and laughs

"This is not funny mom"I say getting panicked

She starts laughing even harder

"MOM"I shout

"Oh my god Joey your reaction was priceless"she says catching her breath

"Wait what"I said

"I'm joking with you Joey"she says laughing again

"Mom this isn't something to joke about"I say as I got relieved

"Maybe now you'll stop using girls for fun Joseph"she says

"And you know what I mean by that"she added

"Ugh"I say

"Don't break that girls heart Joey,she seems very nice and fragile"she says

"Chole or...?"I asked

"No not her I'm talking about Melody"she says

"I won't"I say knowing that wasn't true

My mom just smiled and walked off to her room.

It is 10 P.M. and I am really bored so I decided to text Melody.

"Hellooooo :)"

"Hey :)"

"How are you doing?"

"Better I guess.How about you?"

"I'm doing good"

"Glad to hear that"

"When are you coming back to school?"

"I don't know to be honest"

"I miss annoying you...it's funny when you get mad lol"

"I'm bored"

"I can tell"

"Hehe"

"It's past your bedtime Joey,go to sleep kid"

"You're not my mother :)"

"Goodnight Birlem"

"Noooo don't leave me all alone"

"Oh my lord Joey"

"Let's FaceTime"

"You're crazy if you think I'm going to FaceTime you"

"Well then I guess I am crazy"

"Joey I'm sleepyyyyy"

"Soooooo"

"That means you're gonna be talking to yourself on FaceTime since I'm gonna fall asleep"

"Doesn't matter...it'll be like a sleepover"

"Oh my...I guess then"

"Calling you right now ;)"

It's been an hour since Melody and I've been on FaceTime.

She fell asleep.

I could see her since she set her phone on the drawer next to Jake's bed.

She went back to the hospital.

I feel bad for her.She has been through so much and now she has this going on?!

I know she doesn't like me calling her princess but I can't help it....

I'm just so used to it...

I look at her one more time before I closed my eyes and drift off to sleep
