The Heart of Durmstrang

Chapter 2: Tea Talk

Albus Dumbledore opened a door to a home that seemed like it belonged to a muggle family but this was the place, number 12 Grimwald place. Adeline made sure it was the place before she rudely interrupted some poor muggle family's dinner over some bloody tea. As Adeline walked into number 12 Grimwald place the door closed behind her, she started to feel odd due to the fact of the small traces of hogwarts sat on the wall.. after all she went to Durmstrang. "Dumbledore, what exactly is this place" question Adeline as they made their way down the long hallway with a stairway that seemed like it lead up stairs and a lone door that laid at the end of the hallway. "This is the headquarters for the order, but sadly the order has been Disbanded for many years" said Dumbledore as they were both halfway through the long hallway. "But why" Adeline asked as she was filled with many questions that she wanted to ask. "There wasn't no use for it after the fall of You-Know-Who" answered Dumbledore as the reached the end of the hallway and arrived at the lone door. "Then why would i want to join something that hasn't existed since i was bloody 5" exclaimed Adeline as she followed Dumbledore threw the door.

As Adeline sat at the long wooden table across for Dumbledore, she watched their tea get poured as many questions went throw her head. "Dumbledore why did you take in my mother" Adeline asked. The kettle floated onto the stove as the old wizard gave a small nod as he took in the question. "She was left with me after her parents died. Her father was a good friend of mine" said Dumbledore as he looked at Adeline and continued. "Your mother didn't agree on what I thought on the use of Dark magic.. she reminded me of her father so much". "Who is her father" question Adeline as she lifted up her tea cup waiting for an answer. As she took a drink of her tea, Dumbledore went threw his mind on the way he would describe his old friend. "Time will come when you learn about who your grandfather is but more importantly you need to find yourself" said Dumbledore as Adeline was already half way threw her cup of tea. Adeline sat down her now empty tea cup as she gave the old man a confused gaze. "Why do i need to find myself Dumbledore! When ever anyone hears my last name Karkaroff, they all tremble almost in fear." Said Adeline as she took a deep breath as Dumbledore gave a nod. "All I really know is the mountain range that our family lives on that is only a 3 miles hike from Durmstrang! Which is where my father is the headmaster!" Shouted Adeline as she slammed her hand on the table as it shook the things on the table. "That is why you can find yourself when you come to hogwarts" responded Dumbledore as Adeline sat still as she started to think. "How would i find myself at hogwarts when i am of age and I graduated from Durmstrang" questioned Adeline as she crossed her arms waiting for a response due to the fact Durmstrang is one of Hogwarts competing wizarding Schools. "Trust me Dear Adeline, everything will come together when you arrive at hogwarts with your family" said Dumbledore as there was a small twinkle in his eyes. Before Adeline could say something a man walked through the door and said something . "What is up with all this bloody racket"
