"Are you serious Adeline, you really have no one to go to the ball with and it is just two weeks away" stated Viktor as he watched Adeline search through a pile of parchments that laid on her desk. "I really have no interest in going to a Dance with this lot.. no offense Viktor" She responded, looking up from the papers. "Well you could possibly meet some nice British boy there" Viktor exclaimed. "If i do happen to go you will be the first to know" she sarcastically responded. "haha, found it" Adeline exclaimed, holding up a piece of parchment. "is that your job acceptance letter" questioned viktor. "No, my denial letter which is much better" she said with a chuckle.. she was hoping that she would be denied in the long hall, so she could focus on Grindelwald more. "You are the only person that would be happy about that" Viktor exclaimed as he moved from leaning against the wall to sitting in the arm chair. "i still have my whole life to apply to work for the britsh ministry of magic, I am after all 19 and i dont plan of going back to Europe" she Responded. "Does you father know about your plan" He asked. "No he doesn't, I also plan on having Ivan stay with me while I reside here in Britain". "Your father will be really mad at you for doing that" "I am not going to leave my little brother with a reknown death eater, he can be pissed at me all he wants" she exclaimed, crumbling up the parchment before she had cast incindio on it. "you do have a point". Adeline fixed the pile of scattered papper that laid on here desk before grabbing a envelope that was already sealed. "Who is that for" Viktor qustion as he stood up from the arm chair. Adeline walked from behind the desk. "For a old hogwarts proffesor that Dumbledore had told me about that may have information on my mother" She lyied to viktor. She had planned to go to the ball but only if Remus had agreed to go with her. She had put enough gallons in the envlope to get him a good pair of formal robes. The only way she will know if she would be going if he shows at hogs head two hours before the dance. "Lets head to the owlery on the grounds before it gets to late"
The snow crunched underneath there feet as more slowly fell and settled on top of the trees. "Since when did your dad start send your guys family owl to an owlry" asked Viktor, as they made their way up the owlry's slippery stairs. "I had bought my own surprisingly, just a few days after the first trail. A little owlet barn owl named Alburta" responded Adeline, staying close to the cold stone wall as a female Hogwarts student ran down the stairs. "Wonder what that's about" he questioned. "I do not know but we are about to find out" responded Adeline. They had finally mad it to the platform to see Harry Potter looking over the stone wall. "Everything alright" asked Adeline. Harry had turned around to look at Viktor and Adeline. "Ya am fine. Just taking in the scenery"Harry had lied. "Sure you are" Adeline questioned. Viktor had tapped Adeline shoulder and nodded towards the door of the owlry. She nodded back and had went ahead. "I have seen you walk around the castle during classes.. who are you" asked harry. Adeline had shoved her hands in her jacket as they started to get cold. "My name is Adeline, i graduated from Durmstrang four years ago" she responded to harry. "Sorry to ask But why do you have a Scottish accent" questioned harry. Adeline didn't want to tell the very famous Harry Potter her history, even though she already knew his. "We have all of our own stories Harry potter, mine is almost as big as yours" responded Adeline, which she thought was a grate response. "Well i must be going.." Harry responded awkwardly before going passed Adeline. "Be carful walking down those stairs.. they are very icy" she told Harry as he disappeared around the corner. Adeline slowly made her way into the warm owlry. To see viktor getting to know Alburta. Her cinnamon color feathers, shimmered in the candle light. "She is very lovely, Adeline" Viktor slowly rubbed his finger in the top of Alburta's head. "Of course she is, she is just a baby.. she doesn't know what its like in the real world yet" Adeline told viktor, as she tied the rolled up envelope on to her leg. "Take this to Remus Lupin.. make sure this gets there to him" Adeline told the owl. Alburta gave a hoot before she kicked off of viktor's arm and flew out of the owlry. "Her claws aren't even that sharp yet" Viktor said with a chuckle. "Of corse they aren't, she hasn't really been out hunting yet.. this is her first time out" Adeline responded as they both walked towards the arch way. "And you already trust that tiny owl". "I sure do" Adeline said confidently.
