The Heart of Durmstrang

Chapter 4: Viktor

Adeline made her self threw her house as silent as she could, so she wouldn't wake up her father. As Adeline opened her bedroom door it started to make creaking noises as she opened the wooden door. As quick as she could she closed the door and she gave a deep breath in relief.

"That was close" Adeline as she took of her cape and thew it on the arm chair she has in the corner of her room and plopped her self on her bed hopping to catch some sleep before they left for hogwarts. As Adeline slept for a good 6 hours before her door creaked open and her bed started to move.

"Come on Addy, father told me to wake you" said a young boy who had a small Russian accent as he jumped on the bed. The boy had black hair that was nicely done but was normally messy, pail skin like Adeline and dark blue eyes.

"Come on Ivan.. let me sleep" Adeline asked as she covered her head with her pillow as the sun shined onto her bed from the window. "Father is ready to go" complained Ivan as he pulled Adeline's hand. "Alright i am up" said Adeline as she sat up as her brother was in his brand new school robes for his First year at Durmstrang.

"Seems like you slept in your robes agin" said Ivan as he jumped off of Adelines bed and made his way to the door before he stopped in his steps in front of the door. "You went out last night didn't you Addy" asked Ivan as he waited for the response from his older sister.

"I did, but you can not tell father" said Adeline as she stood up as she walked to the arm chair where her cape laid. "I had some things to take care of be for we leave". "You are starting to be like father, dispersing in the middle of the night" said Ivan as he opened the bedroom door before he walked out of Adeline bedroom.

"Me like my father, Ivan has lost his bloody mind" exclaimed Adeline to herself as she put on her matted Woolly matted cape before she did her messy Brown hair.

Adeline walked down the stair as she heard her father voice echo threw the down stairs as he talked to Ivan. "Father how difficult will it be to get to hogwarts" questioned Ivan as Adeline made her way to the room where her father and little brother where they talked. As she got closer her, she could hear her father's heavy Russian accent. "it wont be difficult.. the ship will arrive By river, near the school" said her father as she walked into the room. Her father had short black curly hair that was going silver along with his goatee- that curled at the bottom , her father was a very interesting man. "By the way your making it sound it is going to be a long travel father" said Adeline as she crossed her arms as her dad gave her a look. "You decided to join us Adeline" said Adelines father as she walked to stand near Ivan who gave her a shrug. "I was busy doing my own thing" Adeline responded, crossing her arms as her dad gave her a sigh. Adeline and her father never really got a long after her mother passed when she was just 8 years old. After that day, her father left at nights... left her and Ivan with the Krums, which are really close family friends. "Sending late night owls to Viktor, weren't you" said Ivan as he gave looks at Adeline as he knew she wasn't going to do nothing because of their father being in front of them both. "No i wasn't" said Adeline as her checks started to blush. "You two stop arguing and get to the boat" snapped there father as they both agreed. "Yes father" they both said in sync.

Adeline and Ivan stood in front of the boat that will be taking them to hogwarts as the north  Europe snow fell slowly as the Durmstrang students climbed onto the boat. "Your first year at Durmstrang will be very different then mine, Ivan" said Adeline as the watched the last of the kids get on to the boat.

"I know that Adeline but At least i get to watch to watch the tri-wizard tournament in my first year" exclaimed Ivan as he stuck his tung out before he said something.

"Your not going to like it but father said Viktor was going to be put in for the school". "Wait what.. did you say-" Adeline started to say befor she was cut off by a boy with short black hair, dark eyes and wearing the same robe as Adeline.

"My Adeline" said the boy as he got closer and Adeline head went towards the voice. "Viktor" said Adeline as she made her way towards Viktor and as she walked away Ivan Whispered under his breath "told you" which was loud enough for Adeline to hear, she flicked her wand at her side and a snow ball hit Ivan straight in the face.

"You did a good job in the world cup Viktor" Adeline exclaimed as Viktor grabbed her hand that didn't have her and kissed it. "But we lost Adeline" responded Viktor as he brought her hand down and he held it. "But you caught the snitch, Viktor"

"Did you even understand the game Adeline" questioned Viktor as they both made their way on the the boat behind Ivan. "You should know that i am not really into Quidditch Viktor" she responded as Viktor gave a chuckle. "I forgot about that Adeline. Also hated it growing up" he said as he started to chuckle before he said something else. "As I recall your words where you where afraid of a bludger to hit you in the head"

"That was when i was 10 Viktor, much older then i was back then" said Adeline as she crossed her arms in protest as the made there way to headmasters cabin of the ship. "Then I challenge you to a small match of Quidditch when we are settled in at hogwarts" said Viktor as the came to a stop in front of the door where Adeline's father and brother sat. "Brig it on Viktor"
