Kim took the jar of pickles from him. "Can we share?"

Drakken nodded, "Sure thing friend." He went to the kitchen and she easily popped the lid. He must've banged it enough for it to do it so easily. Kim laughed to herself. "Eh, what's so funny?"

"Nothing." Kim put the open jar in front of him. She wondered where Hego was.

Drakken hummed to himself and ate a pickle. He saw that Kim was staring off into space. "What's the . . . er . . . is it switch or sitch?"

Huh? Kim came back and looked at him. "Sitch." She sat down and got herself a pickle. The juice dripped onto the table, but she didn't care right now. "I'm warning you now. Hego is coming over. Please don't pick a fight with him or ask a zillion questions."

Drakken perked up and then down. Damn you Kim Possible . . . I can ask many questions as I want to! "Be like that." He said in a very childish way.

Kim ignored that. "Can we have a heart to heart about Shannon? I just don't have anyone other than you and Hego to talk to about her."

Drakken got up and went to grab some paper towels to clean up the pickle juice. As he was wiping it down he said, "You know she was always more than a sidekick to me. Shego was like the big sister I never had. Very bossy and snarky, but still I cared for her."

Kim smiled warmly at him.

Drakken then asked, "When did you start having feelings for her?"

"After the alien invasion we got closer. We slowly became real friends and it was such a good time. All of a sudden she was gone and I couldn't get in touch with her. My parents told me that putting my life on hold was the worst thing to do. Then I went to college in Upperton for a year. I then transferred to Princeton and transferred back my junior year because it wasn't working out so well. Then I dropped out of college and my parents were livid and still are."

Drakken was surprised. "Why'd you quit?"

"I didn't feel like it was what I wanted. I felt pressure from everyone and everything still. Plus I was looking for and missing Shannon way more than I thought I ever would."

Drakken threw the paper towels away. He put the lid on the jar and tightened it. He moved his chair a little closer to her and sat down.

Kim continued. "I just wanted to focus my attention on Shannon because everyone else had given up on her. Now I'm working as a freelancer. Doing random jobs here and there. For example, picking up friends kids from school and babysitting. Then driving various people to places like an Uber Driver."

"Good for you, Possible. I just sit around in my haven and watch t.v. I haven't been myself since she left. Taking over the world isn't fun without her." Drakken looked so sad. His eyes were heavy and a darker blue than the rest of him.

There was a knock on the front door. "Stay here." Kim told Drakken and ran. She collected herself and looked through the peephole. She opened it up. "Hego! So glad you're here."

His large and tall self wrapped her in a hug that looked like he'd swallowed her. He let go and stepped back, "I brought Chinese food."

"Hego, there's something I have to tell you." She took the bag of food from him first. "Drakken is in the kitchen. He's not here to hurt me."

Hego went into his defense position. "Why on earth is he here?"

"We're friends. We've been friends for three years now. Come on." She walked into the kitchen as Hego followed her. He saw Drakken sipping a beverage.
