I haven't been in Tulsa in about 6 years. I left when I was eighteen, after I graduated, to have a good life, but that ain't working out. I moved to Texas and began singing. I was dating a guy in a band and he got me in. We were together for 5 years. After we split, I couldn't stay on my own, so I moved back.
I came back to my parents house. I can't believe I'm twenty four and living with my parents. That's embarrassing.
"Thanks mama." I said to my mom.
"No problem sweetie. I'll always be here for you." She told me.

I decided to refresh my mind about the town. I walked around the town a bit.
I past a construction site and the men were hollering. I was flattered but offended.
"Hey baby!" One yelled.
"I'd like to throw that over my shoulder, rather than this!" Another said.
I hurried away. I went to the Dingo and I got a milkshake and fries.
I was sitting eating my fries and reading my book. Some construction boys came in.
"Hey! It's the cutie!" One guy called. I blushed and rolled my eyes.
"How you doing, baby?" One asked and sat down.
"I'm fine, and if you don't mind, I'd like to be alone." I said and went back to my book.
"Well, I do mind. I think a pretty girl like you, shouldn't be alone." He said grabbing my hand.
"Don't touch me," I said pulling my hand away, "I'd like to be alone."
"I'm not leaving." He smirked.
"Ron, leave her alone." A man called.
"Darry, don't tell me what to do." The man said.
"Seriously, Ron, I think you should leave." I said. He scoffed and walked away.
"Thanks." I said to the guy who stuck up for me.
"Oh, no problem, doll." He smiled.
"I'm sorry, do I know you?" I asked. He looked strangely familiar.
"I don't know. What's your name?"
"(Y/n)." I smiled.
"It doesn't ring a bell. I'm Darry Curtis." He said holding his hand out and I shook it.
"Darrel Curtis? Oh my lord. You were the captain of the football team right? In high school." I said.
"Yes I was." He smiled.
"I was on the cheer team. I always had a little crush on you." I smiled.
"Ha, I'm sorry but I don't remember you." He said.
"It's okay don't worry." I said.
"So what did you do when you graduated?" He asked sitting down.
"I moved to Texas. I wanted to be a singer and I sang at little clubs but it wasn't working. I came back yesterday." I said frowning.
"Oh damn." Darry said.
"How about you?"
"Well I started working, and a while ago my parents passed away and I took in my two younger brothers." He said.
"Oh, Darry, I'm so sorry." I said frowning.
"Yeah, it's okay. I'm passed it now." He said looking down.
"I thought you'd go on to be a famous football player." I smirked.
"I thought so too." He chuckled.
Darry and I talked for about an hour. He's so interesting and cute. His cold blue eyes and peachy skin. Ugh I could just die.
I had to go home and Darry drove me. We pulled up to my house.
"Well, goodnight (y/n)." He said smiling.
"Goodnight Darry." I smiled back.
He grabbed me and kissed me passionately. We stopped and I looked at him.
"Can I see you again?" He asked.
"Yes you may." I said grabbing him and kissing him again.
Darry was something else man.
