"Ahhh! We're in California!" Violet screams as we get out of the cab. I look around as people start staring at us.
"Would you keep it down? People are starting at us." I said. She smiles and swings her arm around my shoulder.
"Dear sister we've been planning on coming here since we were 10. And now look at us? We actually made it. Aren't you excited?" She asked. I giggled. "Don't you wanna scream?" She asked. I shook my head at my twin.
"You're too much," I said. She giggles.
"Maybe but you still love me." She said. I nod.
"I have yet to figure out why," I said. She sighs.
"Wow ignore the best friend," Gale said. We both turn to him as he smiles.
"Gale we could never ignore you. You're our best friend." Violet said walking up to him. He smiles.
"Aria as your first night in my home town what would you like to do?" Gale asked. I looked up at the sky.
"I don't know," I said enjoying the stars.
"Oh I know let's go to that club that you've been going on and on about," Violet said. I look at them.
"Yes," I said. They smile.
"Ok but tomorrow you two are unpacking everything. I'm not giving you a chance to take the next flight back to New York." He said.
"Why would we want too?" Violet asked. I watched them walk up to his front door and I giggle to myself.
Violet is my twin sister and she has the most amazing character. She is the free soul out of the two of us. I'm more of the 'what could happen' kind of girl.
Gale has been our best friend since we were in diapers. His mom lived next door to us until they moved when we were 9. Violet and I made a pact that we weren't gonna be separate ever again. So we said once we graduated from school we were gonna take the first plan to California and here we are.
"Aria you coming?" Violet asked peeking her head out the front door.
"Yeah," I said. As I entered the beautiful house I smiled.
The walls were mostly glass and the actual walls were a bright white. Most of the tables were marble. Family pictures hung on the walls. The bedrooms were quite big. All had their own bathrooms. A queen size bed with a walk-in closet.
There are 5 rooms in this house but only three were being used. There is a dining room with a table big enough to sit 12 people. A kitchen big enough to fit 20 people comfortably. The living room could fight 30 people comfortably.
There was an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool. A hot tub outside. And a game room. The garage is big enough for 6 cars. This house was beautiful and perfect.
"Ok girly you have time to drool over the house later. Right now you need to go get an outfit on." Violet said. I giggled digging into my bag on the couch. I grabbed out a skin-tight black dress that cut off the shoulders but went down my arms. The bottom of the dress reached my knees.
I walked to the bathroom and put it on. I put on some black eyeshadow and some eyeliner. I put on some red lipstick and highlighter. I did my hair in a french braid and was done. I walked out and slipped on my 2-inch heels.
Violet walks downstairs and she was wearing a red leather dress that reaches her thigh. Her makeup is done with pink shadow and a wing with eyeliner. And a shiny pink gloss. Her hair was put in a messy bun. She giggles and puts on her 3-inch heels. We looked the same by birth but I was taller.
Gale walked downstairs and he wore jeans with tares and a black t-shirt that made his body pop. He slipped on his Jordans and looked us both up and down.
"Damn chicas. You both look... Delicious." He said. I rolled my eyes.
"I almost forgot how big of a flirt you are," I said. He chuckled.
"You love it." He said. I shook my head.
"You wish I did," I said. He sighs.
"Come on." He said opening the front door. We walk out and got into his blue Convertible. The drive to the club was full of singing terribly to music. When we got to the club Gale gave his car keys to a guy so he could park it. He walked up to the Usher. "Hey, Blake." He said. The guy with mussels as big as the Rocks nodded.
"Hey, Gale. Who are these fine ladies?" He asked? Gale turns to us.
"This is Aria and Violet. My best friends I was telling you about." Gale said. Blake smirks. Violet giggles and waves at him. "May we come in?" Gale asked. Blake lifts the rope and Gale thanks him. I walk in first and they both followed. I smiled.
I walked up to the counter and the bartender looks at me. "What may I get you, pretty ladies?" He asked.
"A tequila sunrise," I said. He nods.
"On the house." He said. I smile.
"What don't need to check my ID?" I asked. He shakes his head.
"You looked 21 to me." He said with a wink. I smile again. He hands me my drink with a napkin with his number on it. I put it in my handbag and turn around to see Gale and Violet at a table. I walk over at them and sit down. Violet takes my drink and takes a sip.
"Yum." She said.
"And it's mine," I said taking it from her. She rolls her eyes.
"He didn't check your ID?" She asked.
"Nope," I said. She smiles.
"I'm gonna get me one." She said standing up.
"No, worries I'll get it," Gale said getting up. She sits back down as he walks over to the bartender.
"So who looks good enough to dance with?" Violet asked herself as she scanned the crowd. I roll my eyes.
"I'm sure someone is gonna come up and ask you any second," I said. And right after a guy with a mohawk walks up.
"Wanna dance?" He asked. She turns to me and smiles.
"Keep my seat warm?" She asked. I nod.
"Have fun," I said. Walks off with him and disappears into the crowd.
