Aria's P.O.V

We walk into Benny's karaoke and Grill and I smiled. Violet started laughing at something dad said but I looked around. I spotted a table and went for it. Miguel sat next to me. I smiled at him. "This place is massive," Violet said. I nod. Dad chuckles.

"They're drinking age is 20." He said. I look at him. "I checked." He said. I giggle. A waitress walks by and dad calls for her. She walks up to him.

"What can I do for you, sir?" She asked.

"It's my daughters birthday today. Is there any way you can get them on the stage for a duet?" He asked. She smiles and looks at us. Violet and I shake our heads.

"Dad we don't sing," Violet said. He waved her off.

"Happy birthday ladies. And we do free karaoke for birthdays." She said. Dad thanks her. "Would you like the birthday special drinks?" She asked.

"What is it?" Violet asked.

"We have three. Margarita, Bloody Mary, and Tequila Sunrise. You can have two." She said. Violet and I looked at each other.

"Margarita." We copied. She giggles.

"Coming right up." She said walking away. I look at dad.

"You brought us here so we would make a fool of our selves by singing didn't you?" I asked. He chuckled.

"Aria you actually have a great voice," Gale said. I look at him as Violet slaps him.

"What about Violet?" I asked.

"She has a special voice." He said. She giggles.

"Very kind of you." She said rolling her eyes. "What do you say, sis? Want to go make a fool of ourselves?" She asked. I look at Miguel who was staring at me.

"Don't laugh," I said. He chuckles.

"I will try not too but I can't make any promises." He said. I hesitate on getting up but I get up anyway. A lady walked up to us.

"Name ladies?" She said.

"Violet and Aria," I said. She smiles.

"What will you be singing?" She said.

"God gave me you," Violet said.

She nods and walks on the stage and the people look up at her. "We have birthday girls twins to be exact. Violet and Aria are coming up here to sing God gave me you." She said. A few people clapped. She walked off and we walked on.

The music began to play. "I've been a walking heartache. I've made a mess of me." Violet sang.

"The person that I've been lately, Ain't who I wanna be." I sang.

"But you stay here right beside me." She sang.

"Watch as the storm goes through." I sang. We looked at each other.

"And I need you." We sang together. We waited for the best to drop. "'Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs. God gave me you for the days of doubt. For when I think I've lost my way. There are no words here left to say, it's true. God gave me you, gave me you." We sang.

"There's more here than what we're seeing." I sang.

"A divine conspiracy." She sang.

"That you, an angel lovely." I sang.

"Could somehow fall for me." She sang. We continued until the song was done and when it was we got everyone clapping. Violet giggled. "Thank you." She said in the mic. I pulled her off the stage and walked over to the guys. Dad hugged us.

"You were amazing." He said. I roll my eye as did Violet.

"I was horrible," I said. Miguel wrapped his arms around me.

"You were wonderful." He said. I bite my lip. He uses his thumb to release it. "Stop that." He said. I giggle as he places a kiss to my cheek.

"You ladies should sing here more often." The ladies who announced us said. We look at her. "You filled the house tonight. Thank you." She said. I look at Violet as she looks at me.

"We were just messing around," I said looking back at her. She shrugs her shoulders.

"Messing around or not you two are going places." She said walking away.

"Told you," Dad said. I sit down and grab my drink. Dad gets up. "Gale come sing with me." He said. I shake my head.

"Don't hurt my ears." I joked. Dad stuck his tongue out.

"Only if we get to sing happy," Gale said getting up. Violet and I start laughing. They walk over to the lady and pay her.

"Gale and Peter wanted to come up here and sing happy," she said. Gale and dad grab mics.

"Happy birthday baby this is for you," Gale said. The music started and he and dad started dancing. "It might seem crazy what I'm 'bout to say
Sunshine she's here, you can take a break. I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space. With the air, like I don't care baby by the way." He started.

"Huh, Because I'm happy," Dad said.

"Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof." Gale sang

"Because I'm happy." Dad sang.

"Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth." Gale sang.

"Because I'm happy." Dad sang.

Clap along if you know what happiness is to you." Gale sang.

"Because I'm happy." Dad sang.

"Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do." Gale sang. I giggled as they sang and danced. They were terrible but it's was adorable. Violet called the waitress over.

"I'm gonna need another Margarita to listen to the rest of this." She said.

"I second that sister," I said.

"Coming right up." She said. We tanked her as she walked away. A hand on my leg made me look at Miguel. He smiled at me.

"Come take a walk with me." He said. I nod and we got up. We walked out and he dragged me to the beach that was connected to Benny's. We walked along the beach letting the water hit our feet. I smiled feeling the cool breeze. "Happy birthday beautiful." He said. I look over at him.

"Thank you and thanks for coming," I said. He stops walking and smiles.

"I'm glad I was invited by you and your father." He said. I smiled.

"Surprised me as well," I said. He takes a small box out if his pocket.

"Before you get too excited its not a ring." He said. I smile. He hands the blue box to me. "Happy birthday." He said. I opened it and it was a bracelet with the words beautiful on it. I smiled and looked up at him. "I've had it in my pocket for a week." He said.

"It's beautiful," I said. He chuckles. "Can you put it on me?" I asked. He takes it out of the box and clicks it on my wrist. I smile.

"It makes your skin tone pop." He said. I giggle wrapping my arms around his neck and his hands fall to my waist.

"I love it," I said. His smile widens. He dips his head down and places a kiss to my lips. I hum in response.
