Chapter 13

*Charlotte POV*
I wake up and see that I am in my room. I get out of bed and run to Daddy and Jessie's room. I open the door and see them still asleep. I run over to the bed and try to jump up onto it but daddy wakes up.
"Char what are you doing" he whispers
"I want up" I say
I walk over to him and he helps me up on the bed. I crawl over him and lay down.
"Are you falling back to sleep" he asks tickling me
"No" I laugh
He keeps tickling me and then Jessie wakes up.
"Drew what are you doing" she asks
"Playing with char" he says
"You do realize I was trying to sleep" she says
"Ooh daddy in trouble" I say
He tickles me again and I keep laughing.
"Da-da-daddy st-stop. I have to pee" I laugh
"Oh really because to me it just sound like laughing" he says
"Daddy" I say
He stops and helps me off the bed. I run out the room and to the bathroom. After I use the toilet I go downstairs and see Jessie in the kitchen.
"What are you doing" I ask
"I'm making breakfast" she says
"Where's daddy" I ask
"He is taking a shower so he's not smelly" she says
"Ok" I say
I grab a chair and drag it over to Jessie. I stand on it and look at what she's doing.
"Are those pancakes" I question
"No sweetheart. They're waffles" she says
"Oh" I say
"You want to help" she asks
"Ok" I say
She helps me wash my hands and then opens the waffle maker thing and sprays something on it.
"I just sprayed a spray on there so the waffles won't stick and break" she says
"Ok" I say
She helps me put some batter and then we put on some chocolate chips. We make a lot of pancakes and then we hear daddy walk into the kitchen.
"What are my two favorite girls up to" he asks
"We made chocolate chip pancakes daddy" I say
"I see that. Shall we eat" he asks
I nod and he picks me up off the chair and carries me to the table. We sit down and then Jessie comes over with the waffles.
"So what are we doing today" Jessie asks
"Well I have to go and do a few things. I'm also going to pt" Daddy says
"Ok. Well my boss needs me to come and shoot a few scenes for this new project I'm working on." Jessie says
Daddy is about to say something but the door bell rings. Daddy goes and opens the door then comes back with Akbar.
"Hi Mr. Akbar" I say
"Good morning miss. Charlotte" He says
"Hey Akbar. What are you doing here" Jessie asks
"Well I knew you all had stuff going on, and I knew Charlotte liked to hang out with Kevin, so since I'm going to his gym today I wanted to see if she wanted to come with me" Mr. Akbar says
"Can I daddy. Please" I beg
"I don't know. Have you been a good girl" he asks
"Always." I smile
"Fine. I guess you can go" he says
Jessie picks me up and takes me upstairs. She helps me get ready then we go back downstairs. She sets me down and I run back to the kitchen. Daddy is sitting and talking with mr. Akbar. I hop up onto daddy's lap and kiss his cheek.
"Bye snowflake. Have a good day" he says
"Bye daddy. I love you" I say
I hop off his lap and Mr. Akbar picks me up. We walk out and go to his car. He puts me in a car seat that I guess he has for his kid. He buckled me in and then he gets in. He drives off and I start humming to the radio.
"Did you have fun in North Carolina" he asks
"How did you know I was there" I ask
"Your daddy told me" he says
"Oh. I had lots of fun." I say
"That's good" he says
We get to Uncle Kevin's work and Mr. Akbar helps me out. He sets me on his hip and we go to the entrance. We go in and Uncle Kevin is standing there with his back towards us. Mr. Akbar sets me down and I run to uncle Kevin hugging his legs.
"Well Hello Char" He says picking me up
"Hi uncle Kevin" I say
"Who are you here with" he asks
"Mr. Akbar" I say
"Oh okay. How about us three go in there and have some fun. I don't have anything to do for a couple hours so I can focus on spending time with you munchkin" uncle Kevin says tickling me
I laugh and nod my head yes.
We go in the gym part and fool around. After a long time it's time for me and Mr. Akbar to leave.
"Bye uncle Kevin" I say
"Bye" He says
We get back in Mr. Akbars car and he drives me back home. He takes me inside and then leaves. I run over to daddy and see he asleep. I jump on him anyway.
"Hello Snowflake" He says
"Hi daddy" I say
"Did you have fun" he asks
"Uh huh. Can we watch paw patrol" I ask
"I don't know. Do you think you deserve it" he asks
"Yes" I say
"Alright. I guess I can turn it on" He says
He grabs the remote and charges the channel. He sits up and cradles me on his lap. After about an episode or two I fall asleep.
*drew POV*
The second episode of paw patrol just ended. I look down at my lap and see Charlotte asleep. I get up and lay her down then head to the kitchen. I look around at what food we have and then start working on dinner. After an hour I finish dinner and hear the door open.
"Drew what the heck are you doing without your cane" Jessie asks
"I wanted to do something nice so I made dinner" I mumble
She walks over to me and gives me a kiss then leads me over to a chair.
"Are you in any pain" she asks
"No. Not really" I say
"You're lucky" she says
She sets the table then goes to the living room and brings me a sleeping Charlotte. I rub her back and whisper sweet words to her. She yawns and rubs her eyes.
"Hello snowflake. Did you sleep well" I ask
She nods her head and leans her head on my shoulder.
"Come on snowflake. You gotta wake up. It's time for dinner" I say
I set her in her chair and Jessie brings the food over. I serve food to everyone then we start eating. After dinner we watch a few movies then head upstairs. Jessie and I tuck Charlotte into bed then head to bed ourselves.
"We have to do the videos for American Ninja Warrior soon" I say
"We still have a few months. You're still doing PT. Will Gavin even let you" she asks
"I don't know" I say
"See that's step one" she says
"Ok." I say
"I love you" she says
"Love you too" I say
I turn the light off and get in a comfortable position before I drift off to sleep.
