My tears resumed to fall, rolling down my cheeks however at a slower rate.
"Are you sure your okay?"
I turned again to see the man staring at me. I nodded again
"I'm fine, or at least.. I will be" he smiled however I could see the concern in his face
"What's your name?" He asked looking at me
"I'm mckenzie," I wiped a tear from my cheek," and you are?"
"I'm Adam" i nodded.
"Can I guess and say it's guy troubles?"
"You could say that yes, your correct" he leaned slightly over to me and turned to face the rubbish view of the flats. Large blocks of box houses piled up onto each other to create a tall tower that creates a large shadow over the whole town.
"It's ugly here" he spoke
"Try living here" I replied quickly
" why don't you move out?" He questioned facing me, I could then see clearly how he looked. Without the tears this time. He had under eye bags that made him look, well scary. He had a small scar that ran through his eyebrows and his hair was unevenly cut.
I then realised how strange the whole situation was, but stranger danger wasn't really going through my mind at this moment in time."Can't afford it"
He shifted closer to me "why don't you get a job"
"I have one, you really like to ask questions" my quick reply took him back.
"Well it doesn't seem like your going to ask any"
I sighed, I wasn't in the mood for talking.
"I think I'm just going to go". His head instantly spun around to me and he placed his hand on mine.
"Wait, let me get your number"
"Umm" he took my phone that was in my hand and made me out my password in, him looking at the buttons I pressed in order to unlock it.
He typed in his number and smiled at me and then took my number and put it into my phone.
I took my phone back off of him and stood up walking away. This dude was strange.
"Bye" his cold voice echoed through the diameter of the tarmac floor that was placed in between the blocks of flats.

1:39pm
I was working at the small coffee shop again. This was the only way in which me and Olivia could eat and have a bed each just for us. Otherwise, without this job, I would most likely be out on the streets and Olivia be in foster care. I really wouldn't want that.
Daniel hadn't text me however Adam did.
Although I shouldn't want them to text me and meet up with me, I still did.
It's not like I have any friends or anyone else to talk with, the only person I have is my 4 year old daughter.
After pouring out a cup of coffee, my phone dinged. I looked down to check it.
Adam
Him: hey, how are you?I'm good, you?
Good, hey I was thinking
would you want to go out
to dinner later?
Sure, I finish my
shift in an hour
Okay how about I pick
You up at 6pm and we
can grab a bite to eat
See you then——
I sighed as I put my phone down onto the counter. I have to look after Olivia then, but I've never been asked out on like a date before in years. I had to take the opportunity, I just have to think of who can look after via...Me: opinions on Adam?
Hope u like this btw lol
