As soon as the girls left for shopping, I went upstairs into my room, made my room tidy (ocd kicking in) and watched videos on YouTube of family vloggers.
I settled on watching the LaBrant family so that I could become a better dad. I mean, u wasn't in olivias life for all them years so I want to make it up to her.
I mentally noted a few things to become a good dad and then walked downstairs to get some apple juice.
"Hey daniel," jonah said, walking over to me as I poured apple juice in a cup.
"Hey," I replied looking at him.
"So uh, can I ask you something?" He asked as Corbyn and jack walked over.
"Sure, whats up?" I asked overthinking any question he could ask.
"Um, well we know that you and maddie just broke up," Corbyn spoke.
"But uh, do you like McKenzie?" Jack asked.
I major blushed.
"I'll take that as a yes," jack laughed.
"Well, I don't think she likes me though," I replied being honest.
"Are you blind!?" Jonah said, "every time you walk into the room her eyes light up and plus, she won't leave your side."
I blushed more.
"If you had the chance to re-date her, would you?" Corbyn asked.
I blushed again.
"I'll take that as a yes," zach laugher walking into the room.
"You should ask her on a date bro," jack said.
I laughed, "um yea I think I'm good, I don't fancy a rejection today".
No one laughed at my joke. :(
"Wow, you really are blind," Jonah said, "I bet you $20 she will say yes"
"She won't though there is no point," I replied to jonah.
"If your so sure, then bet and get the $20," zach said doing getting his hand out and pushing his other hand off it to look like he was spreading money.
"Uh.. idk guys.... okay fine," I spoke looking to them. I was still blushed but very scared.
I took out my phone, done a phone flip and texted her.
My text read:
Hey McKenzie, would you want to go on a date with me tonight? It fine if you don't want to though...

All of us guys waited for a response.
1 minute later- read.
2 minutes later- typing
3 minutes later- um sure.
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD YESSSS

"Oh my god-" I spoke looking down at my phone and the text that read.
"What?" Christina asked.
"I-uh omg," I spoke "Youve already said that" tate said and I chuckled a bit.
Gabbie looked down at my phone and read the text ," OMG!!!" She screamed and people turned around to her.
"I think that's the only response we are going to get," kay laughed.
I handed them my phone and they read it and each and everyone screamed. Then gabbie started typing and I grabbed back my phone.
"Sure"
Gabbie replied to the message.
