Daniels pov
I was still in shock at what McKenzie told me and jonah as we were in the sitting room.
Jonah has went upstairs and put himself and Olivia to sleep.
Jack and zach has seem to of went to their room and maddie was asleep in my own room.
Corbyn has took up the sofa as rick and morty played quietly on the tv.
McKenzie was still shaking as she faced me saying thankyou for picking her up.
"No problem hey," I smiled at her.
"I think the only free space to sleep will be Corbyn room, is that okay?" She nodded and smiled with a tear in her eye.
"Hey, it's going to be okay," I smiled and slowly went into hug her showing me as not a threat.
She hugged back throwing her arms around me.
I felt her tears run down my neck as I stroked my neck.
My poor girl.
Uh, the poor girl
I sighed and we walked upstairs to Corbyns room, inside posters of space plastered over the walls with a slight modern feel to it.
McKenzie was still shaking slightly as she sat on the bed placing her hands to the side of her.
I gave her a sad smile as I handed her one of my hoodies, she wasn't in ideal clothes to sleep in.
"Want to borrow some jogging bottoms (trouser sweats? Idk I'm English) as well?" She nodded her head slightly and I returned to the room with the joggers.
I turned around as she changed, I am respectful. She coughed when she finished to signal it and I turned around smiling. I was already changed for bed.
She tugged the duvet and lay down in it, she was still in shock clearly.
"Do you want me to go?" I asked her
She paused and shook her head no to me.
"Okay, I'll sleep on the floor," I spoke and she nodded.

*mckenzies pov*
I hadn't slept since I lay my head down on the pillow.
Daniel has fell asleep hours ago.
And all I could think about was Adam. And the previous events.
It kept repeating in my brain, every. Single. Detail.
Before I knew it i was shaking, and I mean really shaking. To the point I was wheezing for breath and crying.
*daniels pov*
I woke up to hear sobs and loud breathing. Very loud breathing.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, to get the sleep out and turned to my left. There on the bed was McKenzie. She was having a panic attack holding her hands over her head to contain herself but it wasn't working.
I shot up immediately to the beautiful mess crying and ran over to her. I crouched down to her level and took a hold of her hands to remove them from her face.
"Hey, hey McKenzie," I spoke softly, "breathe with me".
She looked up to me, red in the eyes. As I lifted my chest she inhaled with me and then exhale.
Inhale
Exhale
Finally, her breathing came to a normal intake and she stopped squeezing my hands and wiped her eyes.
"You okay?" I spoke
She nodded and leaned into a hug. I stroked her back as she pulled away.
"Will you stay here please?" She asked.
I nodded and I climbed into bed next to her.
I rested my head on the pillow next to her and slowly went to sleep just as she did..
