How to protect yourself from vampires:
Step Seven - Contact the Order of the Vampire Slayers.
"The Royal Order of the Vampire Slayers are a secret organisation of vampire hunters, founded in 1853 by Queen Victoria of the British Empire, the Order was based on the legends of the medieval armies of centuries before who were said to slay vampires across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Originally Queen Victoria assigned trained fighters, males, from British territories but in the modern era the Order has people of all gender identities from all across the Commonwealth member states with nations like the UK, Canada, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa providing the most skilled members. The Order is broken down into different sections, researchers who study ancient texts or any information they can gather on vampires and their clans, locaters who travel the world tracking down potential vampire activity and create a map of vampire locations, and slayers, the highly skilled fighters who hunt and kill vampires. Each section of the Order is ruled and controlled by Officers, who have been given high level military ranks, they are the bosses and assign specific slayers to jobs. Despite the high mortality rate for slayers, due to the enormously generous financial gain the Order is never lacking of young fighters. Being a slayer is very dangerous and most do not live much past their 30s, the average age for slayer death is 34. Many of the slayers in the Order come from generations of Order members and have been trained to fight vampires since they were children."
Rosé re-applied makeup in the mirror inside Jennie's Lexus, both women still wearing the same clothes from the night before, "Captain Hwang is considering sending more slayers here by the way" the Australian said casually as she rubbed her lips together to smooth out the lipstick. Jennie shook her head and huffed in irritation as she drove through town towards her friend's house. The younger girl noticed the Kiwi's clear annoyance and tried to calm her down, "Jen we have been finding multiple vampires every night, some of them aren't even trying to disguise themselves. This whole town is crawling with them, this might be too much for me and you to handle and it is only a matter of time before the vampire clans here figure out there's slayers in town. We don't want to get ambushed". Jennie laughed ironically, "been practicing that little speech long have we? Tiffany is sending more slayers because she doesn't trust that I can do my job properly. I'm not stupid Chaeng, she's been watching me non stop and interfering with every mission I'm sent on". Chaeyoung sighed, "It isn't like that Jennie, she's worried about you, you haven't been the same since your dad died".
The black haired girl began to tap her steering wheel as she got increasingly annoyed, "I don't need to be babysat, my judgement has been off I admit but I'm being made to feel like a bloody child". The Australian put her makeup back inside her bag and prepared herself for the impending argument she could sense, Jennie had a very short temper, "Jen we aren't talking about a few mistakes here, you killed a human". "I know that" the older girl snapped back angrily, "I thought he was a vampire, I-" she pulled the car over to the side of the road and rested her head against the steering wheel, "I was surrounded by vampires and he approached me from behind, I just staked him I didn't know" her eyes began to fill with tears. Chaeyoung started to stroke her friend's back, "I know, these things happen you aren't the only slayer to kill a person but it isn't a mistake you have made before and Tiffany noticed your concentration slipping before that. You've already seen how damn many vampires are in this town and I have a feeling we've only begun to scratch the surface of how corrupt this town truly is. What if you get surrounded again and panic? We need help Jen, for everyone's safety including yours. Tiffany doesn't want to lose you and neither do I".
