Jennie's hand moved slowly down her outer thigh towards the strapped holster around her leg that contained her stake, though she looked more like a cowboy from an old Western movie reaching for their gun. Fighting and slaying all these vampires by herself was highly unlikely, even Jennie knew that, a plan of escape was her safest option. One problem with that though, there was 7 men standing between her and the door. As the increasingly frightened slayer observed 14 purple eyes staring at her through the dark, she realised that she recognised 3 of the men particularly the young, vampire with the cuts and bruises. "Oh" she exclaimed, "so you want revenge because I beat your buddy up huh?". A tall blond man stepped forward a little closer to Jennie, he wore a fashionable black buttoned shirt, tucked into dark grey suit pants and belt with a silver buckle shaped in the symbol of his clan, a dragon in a triangle.
"And you are?" the slayer asked in her best unimpressed tone of voice. The man pulled a cigarette from a packet in the back pocket of his pants, as he placed it loosely between his lips one of the other vampires immediately produced a golden flip-top lighter and lit the cigarette for him. "Namjoon" the blond replied calmly as the smoke blew gently from underneath his fangs and out of his mouth before raising the back of his hand to his face and gently brushing his nose, the dust from the room irritating him a little. As the man had raised his hand Jennie noticed the sparkling, very expensive white-gold watch his was wearing with matching rings.
Namjoon was modern and fashionable which was very unusual for a vampire, most of them didn't bother with keeping up to date with fashion trends or wanting to appear like they had money, demons just stole everything anyways. The only vampires that still attempted to keep involved with human trends and fashion were newly sired vampires, young ones, a lot of the human's memories and mindset, routines etc are still present within the vampire when they are first sired, after many years the demon gains its own identity and casts away the memories of human it took over. In fact the oldest vampires, thousands of years old, didn't even remember the life of the human they once were anymore, adding to speculation amongst researchers that vampires are just demons who posses memories and are not the same person as the human who once occupied the same body. Though that is still under much debate.
Namjoon had clearly not been a vampire for very long, in fact, Jennie didn't think any of these men had been, she estimated that non of them were any older than 30-40 years maximum. Young vampires without older sires and mentors tended to be highly inexperienced when it came to combat and usually not much of a match for a well trained, experienced slayer but the fact that there was a bunch of young vampires forming a clan of their own was highly unusual behaviour and enough to worry the young woman. Young vampires were normally out of control if they didn't have older sires keeping them restrained and behaving as a vampire should. Lisa was an example of a young vampire with an experienced sire in a respectable clan. These boys were an example of young vampires out of control.
"You should of killed Jungkook when you had the chance, it would of been easier for you in the long run. Possibly even avoided this, for a little while anyway" Namjoon continued, still eerily calm, "but I'm glad you did what you did or we wouldn't know who you are. A slayer". Jennie clapped her hands together slowly, "wow congratulations and it only took half an hour of me beating the crap out of the little boy and several days of intensive group thinking for you guys to figure that out. Did you use a calculator?" she said sarcastically. The blond vampire laughed cheerfully, "you know I've read a lot about slayers and heard that you guys were fearless in the face of your enemies and were likely to exchange witty banter instead of heroic clichés, you certainly don't disappoint" he added with a beaming smile.
