Sunmi shivered and sweat as she cowered in a small disused train carriage that was originally intended for transporting crates, certainly not a good place for protecting vampires from harsh sunlight but she didn't have any other option. The dark haired girl had been tracking Lisa for a couple of days now, she wasn't even in Korea anymore. Vampires, unsurprisingly, made good hunters but trying to track another vampire across Asia with no idea where they are going? Incredibly optimistic for even the most talented of hunters. Sunmi persisted however, keen to be reunited with her sire, but where is she. Where is Lisa?
Captain Lee paced behind her troop of slayers with her arms behind her back as she watched over them doing their martial arts drill routines. She'd name a move and they'd all perform it in perfect sync, if someone was even an 10th of a second out of time with the other then CL would scold them. Tiffany walked besides CL, acting as the new captain's second in command. Chaerin had a reputation for being strict with her girls but no matter how much she wanted to, Tiffany found it hard to criticise when she saw how talented and professional Lee's slayers were.
Although Tiffany and Chaerin were both captains, Lee 'outranked' Hwang in prestige, but this was really just a symbolic ranking system amongst captains, neither had more authority than the other. For example, Lee was given the "better" missions, purely high-priority missions of great importance in which CL would bring her full team of slayer units with her. Tiffany on the other hand was in charge of slayer units who undertook different roles, being sent out on solo missions and regular patrols in vampire 'hotspots' until the area was deemed safe enough to move on to the next mission. CL's assignments sounded more dramatic and impressive than Tiffany's but many would argue that Captain Hwang's role was even more important, regular night-after-night solo slayer patrols were reserved for the most talented and experienced slayers, they were usually far tougher and more skilled than the slayers who always acted in teams like CL's did. It was of no coincidence that the two slayers who both held the rank of #1 slayer in the Order over the past couple of years, both served under Captain Hwang.
"Captain Lee" a young man called politely as he saluted the well respected officer, "a moment of your time?". CL nodded, "of course what is it?". He bowed politely at Tiffany, "London HQ has sent out an urgent message to all and every Order unit all over the world. That Jennie Kim has now joined the list of most wanted enemies of the Order. HQ has sent out a death warrant for her and has requested that all Order personnel be aware that if spotted, Jennie Kim is to be executed on sight". There was rumblings and gasps amongst the slayers as they all started to gossip about the news. Tiffany's mouth dropped open in pure horror, she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Silence!" CL shouted at her team, "get back to your drills". The blonde haired captain composed herself, "a few days ago Jennie was fired and now all of a sudden she's on the most wanted list as though she was never part of the Order in the first place?". The man nodded, "yes but she's not the first rogue slayer to end up on that list". Tiffany shook her head, her body shaking with anger, "Jennie is not a rogue slayer, she was fired for repeated misconduct and contempt, nothing serious enough to be classified as a rogue for fuck sakes".
The Rogue Slayer - When the Order officially classified a slayer as 'rogue' it was usually for one of two reasons. 1, (and the most common) the slayer had committed a very serious crime and showed no signs of remorse + have rebelled against the Order and gone on the run. Essentially, a villainous slayer. Or, 2, a slayer has performed a deed against the Order so severe that it is treasonous. Jennie had been classified as a rogue slayer because she committed treason by breaking into the vault and stealing top secret files. The Order however, were not too keen to make this reason public knowledge. To know Jennie had committed treason would lead to questions; how did she commit treason? (what was the nature of the crime), why did she commit treason?. These are things the hierarchy of the Order do not want to be asked and even more so, do not want to answer.
