Criminal trials of the Royal Order of the Vampire Slayers. Criminal trials are not unusual within this secret society of demon hunters, in fact they are more common than even Order members themselves were aware of. Jennie was by no means the first slayer to get into trouble, according to Order documents, slayers are the most likely members to commit crimes. Slayers regularly get in trouble for abuse of power, theft, extortion and sadly often violence. Slayers are supposed to be heroes but not all of them acted that way.
Order trials in truth are highly unfair, there is no jury only a panel of judges who vote on a decision and the majority vote wins, unlike official trials that take place in public courtrooms where juries must come to a unanimous decision. The elected judges may even have personal bias either in favour of, or against the person standing trial so in theory a judge could vote 'guilty' purely because they dislike the person or visa versa. The Order rarely appropriately punished those found guilty, there is no long-term jail time for slayers only fines, suspensions and removal from the Order or if a slayer has gone rogue and considered truly dangerous they are executed by a hunting team.
"Jennie Kim, you stand here today accused of murder in the first degree for the unlawful killing of Ha Soo Young. How do you plead?".
"Not guilty" Tiffany replied as she stood in the defence section, Jennie sitting nervously beside her.
Lisa trailed her feet behind her in the snow as she walked down the dark street towards the factory, Jisoo a little ways behind her as the Thai searched for Jungkook. She knew she shouldn't be going to the factory at all, she wasn't supposed to be seeing Jennie again tonight due to the tutor wanting her to stay in the daylight and leading her clan to a isolated human wasn't a good idea if someone happened to want that human alive, which Lisa did. For some reason however, the vampire felt drawn to Jennie, she couldn't stay away from her for too long.
"I can't sense her energy" Lisa whispered under her breath as she got closer and closer to the factory. Lisa should be able to sense Jennie by now especially with the power boost she received from Dara, this either means that Jennie isn't here or she's dead and seen as Lisa could smell neither blood nor death then the former was the clear answer.
Lisa was bothered by the New Zealander's absence but she didn't know why, from an outside perspective one might be foolish enough to suggest the Thai missed her human 'fuck buddy'. Vampires of course were not capable of love and affection in the way a human is, obsession and desire are far more applicable terms but vampires posses the ability to bond strongly, that's how clans are usually formed. The mystic bond that exists within the vampire world is the closest thing to love a demon can experience, they are soulless after all and it is usually only reserved for others of their kind but perhaps Lisa had accidently bonded herself to Jennie without realising or maybe she's just obsessed. Only future events that were soon to unfold would whisper the answer to Lisa but neither bond nor obsession held anything good for Jennie Kim.
The young vampire in truth, was pissed off. Where could Jennie be at this time of night? Maybe she went home? But why now after weeks and more importantly, as far as the Thai was concerned, she should be available when Lisa wants her. What if Jennie was with someone else? "She belongs to me" Lisa growled as she clenched her fists together.
"Lost angel? Need someone to walk you home?" a male voice said, sneering from an alleyway. Lisa sighed impatiently, she was in no mood for games, "I know full well that you know I'm a vampire so cut the crap and show yourself". Hoseok emerged from the alley with Yoongi and Taehyung, "it isn't very lady like to be so rude you know" Hoseok said with a smirk. "Ah, you must be the lizard boys" the Thai said sarcastically as she saw the dragon symbol on their hands.
