Rosé leaned against a large dumpster in the alley at the back of the club, puffing her cheeks out with boredom as she tapped a drumbeat out on her thigh with her wooden stake, the sight of Jennie beating a vampire to a bloody pulp losing its thrill after 15 minutes or so. "Are you gonna stake this dude any time soon?" she asked like a fed up little kid having to help their mother with chores. "Don't interrupt my flow Chaeng, you know it annoys me" the New Zealander replied with slight heavy breath as she continued to punch and kick the vampire seemingly with no intention of actually killing him yet. Chaeyoung sighed, "his eyes are a pale violet, he obviously hasn't been a vampire for very long and he hasn't landed a single punch on you, there's no need for you to be laying on him like this, just dust him so we can move on".
Two men appeared at the entrance of the alleyway, both dressed in dark hooded jackets. "Tae, Yoongi hyung! Help!" the vampire called out helplessly. "Huh?" Jennie said with confusion as she looked towards the two male vampires now running towards her, the momentary lapse of concentration allowed her walking punchbag to kick her causing her to fall back on to the ground. "Fuck sakes" Rosé huffed as her body soon kicked into action, pulling her friend up to her feet and readying her stake to fight the three vampires. Taehyung and Yoongi however had no intention of fighting after seeing how badly their friend had been beaten and not liking their chances against two slayers, "Jungkook, come" the taller of the two men said with a stern, deep voice. The beaten and bruised boy swiftly ran towards his seniors, Yoongi bearing his fangs and growling to warn off the slayers. Vampire growls were unlike any noise a human could make, demonic and threatening more like a tiger than a person. Not that slayers were scared by it of course. Both girls readied themselves to attack the vampires until Taehyung threw something against the ground making a loud bang and a large cloud of smoke. The women and coughed and wafted the smoke away with their hands, once the view of the alley became clear it was evident that the three vampires had run off.
"Did we just get finessed by a floppy haired vampire with a 8 year old's magician toy-set?" Jennie groaned, still coughing to clear her throat of the smoke, "like I can't believe a demon carries around a child's smoke bomb and worse, I can't believe it worked. Embarrassing". Jennie felt sudden force against her shoulder as Rosé pushed her back against the wall, "woah chill" she said with surprise. "What the hell was that?!" the Australian yelled, "you had so many opportunities to slay that vamp but all you wanted to do was torture it". Jennie let out a high pitched laugh in sheer disbelief, "are you for real right now, you're mad that I hurt the poor demon? A slayer who supports the ethical treatment of vampires. What are you, like a supernatural vegan?". Chaeyoung frowned intensely at her friend, not at all seeing the funny side of this, "you should of killed him, now he's escaped and could kill an innocent directly because of your actions. If Tiffany was here she'd cut your wages for that". Jennie pushed Rosé back and brushed the blood and dirt off of her leather jacket, "well Tiffany isn't here is she? And anyway if I had of killed him straight away we wouldn't of known he was part of clan would we, Miss Efficiency?". "What do you mean?" the Australian asked with a raised eyebrow.
The black haired girl tapped her finger against the back of her left hand, "their hands, the two other dudes had a symbol on the back of their left hand. An ancient dragon head inside a triangle, never seen it before. Have you?". Chaeyoung leaned back against the dumpster desperately trying to remember her Vampire Clan history but she was more about the martial arts than the reading side of slaying, "no it isn't ringing any bells". "See, now we have news for the Order, Tiffany will be pleased" Jennie replied cockily as she pinched the Australian's cheek. "You got lucky" the younger woman said, her concern for her best friend's mental health increasing by the day. "Well what about you?" the elder said with annoyance, "you wanted me to take out the principle at the school". "You made it sound like she was a vampire!" Chaeyoung whined in protest, "and that isn't the same as beating the shit out of a vampire and endangering innocents in the process just because that's easier than actually TALKING about your problems". Jennie started clapping her hands together sarcastically, "wow Chaeng, a slayer, a defender of the rights of vampires and now a psychologist all within the space of an hour. I applaud you, really, bravo".
