STALKER

Chapter: 3

My eyes immediately shot open at the sound of my alarm ringing I groaned as I turned to my side to shut off my alarm. I  looked at the timer on my bedside table.

7:40 am and I have my class at 8:20 am. I got up from my bed and rushed towards the closet and grab my clothes and took my way towards the bathroom. after getting ready I went downstairs.

Since Jake is pretty busy in his studies and assignment as this is his last year in college. So, I have to drive at my own college.

I should be happy with the freedom that I don't have to go with my annoying elder brother. And let him babysit me but it's opposite to it I miss him. I am so used to fight with him, to follow his orders. I know it sounds weird and irritating but I know that he cares for me.

I  locked my house as my mom has already gone to her clinic. It's my duty to lock the house. I  reached to my college and park my car as I enter towards to college corridor all eyes were on me. Everyone was staring at me like they have seen a zombie.

What's wrong with everyone why the hell they are staring at me. As I was about to enter in the class. A hand suddenly stopped me I turn to see who is it, and it was the last person I wanted to see.

"Jane what are you doing," I asked in a harsh tone. I know I am being rude but I can't help it. The thing she said to me yesterday was replaying in my mind.

''Alice I know you are mad at me and you have the right to be but there is something I want to tell you", I hesitate but then nodded.

"We have to go somewhere else it's not safe here," she said. "Jane, Betty must be waiting for me at least let me inform her," I said.

''No, Alice you are not getting me, it's urgent please hear me out it's for your own good" she pleaded.

She took me to the college auditorium where there was no one except us.

"Okay, now tell me what is it?" I asked.

"Alice it's about you. you must have noticed that everyone is looking at you weirdly, it's because Roger is spreading rumours that you are his girlfriend and he has warned every guy in our class to stay away from you as he claims you are his. He has recorded the dared video in which you accept to be his girl", she said.

I was shocked when  I heard her ''Are you seriously kidding me. It was a game you all were the one force me to say yes for that stupid game."

''I  know Alice, but I didn't know the game was planned, by Roger. It was my idea of choosing the game but trust me,  I didn't have any idea what's his real intention behind it".

"I have to talk to Betty," I said. "No Alice doesn't even try she won't listen to you and she will blame me for everything. Roger and Betty are best friends their bond is inseparable."

"So, don't even try to talk with her and you have to promise me you won't tell her that I told you all this", Jane said.

I just stood like a statue. I was shocked that I did not know how to react.

"Alice I know it's hard for you to believe me but I have the proof."

She showed me the video. The video had only that scene in which Roger asked me to be his girl even the scene in which Betty force me to say yes was cut. It only shows the part in which I say yes. It felt like my world collapsed.

"Alice, take care of yourself,"  Jane said while leaving me alone. I enter the class the lectured started, Betty tried to talk to me but I ignored her.

I  am not sure she is involved with Roger creepy plan or not but no she won't play with my feelings, right.

I  stood up from my seat and went towards the seat where that creep was sitting. I was furious about how cheap can a guy be.  "Roger I  have to talk with you alone" he nodded and dismissed his friends.

'' What the hell do you think you are and who gave you the permission to claim me yours. I am not a thing which you can own" I yelled at him.

''What are you saying I am not getting you" he said.  "Stop playing dumb Roger", I said and showed him the video.

"Seriously,  Alice  I  didn't know you would be so stupid.  you can see clearly that I am with you in the video so how am I supposed to record it" he said.

"I am not saying you record it, you must have told someone to do it. I know you are behind this and let me tell you I won't let you play with me," with that I left the class.

I went to my house I didn't have the mood to stay in college and my head was paining like it was ready to blast. who must have made the video? Is it Jane maybe but then why did she tell me all this maybe she is playing some sick game.

Marcus no he won't do this especially not with me,  Betty no she is the sweetest person I have known she won't do such a evil but one thing is clear my prediction for Roger was right he is evil.

Suddenly my phone beep I saw the message  "Take care, love" by Roger. how dare he text me that creep, wait how he get my number. I didn't give my number to anyone except Betty.

Is this the starting of the betrayal!
