Zoe

"Hey Di" I yelled and ran up to her. Dianne was sitting at one of the tables in the canteen staring at something...or someone. I sat down beside her and she continued to gaze longingly at the table opposite us. I looked at her line of vision and saw my own brother laughing with his friends. I almost burst out laughing. Dianne liked Joe. Joe liked Dianne. Now I just needed to get them together. "Enjoying the view?" I asked her.

"What?" She spun around in alarm. "Oh it's you. I thought it was Joe because he texted me those exact words earlier in history" Di laughed.

"What do you feel for my brother?" I asked her.

"Friendship" Dianne stared at me, determinedly not blinking.

"I know it's more than that" I grinned at her.

"Okay, I like him.  But the popular Joe Sugg would never like me back so I guess we can just be friends" She sighed.

"I knew it" I grinned and hugged her. "When you gonna tell him?"

"Wait what?!? Slow down" Di panicked. "He doesn't like me like that. Nobody ever does. I bet Joe has every girl hanging off him."

"Joes never had a girlfriend. He's never even kissed a girl" I told her. Dianne turned to me shocked.

"Even I've kissed someone" She said.

"Joes always wanted to wait until the right person comes along. He doesn't see the point in dating someone whenever you don't truly like them."

"Whatever. He still wouldn't like me" Dianne sulked.

"Well...I know the answer to that question because I have asked Joe myself but I ain't telling you what he said unless you talk to him about your feelings" I stood up and motioned for her to follow me.

"Why would I do that? Do you want me to ruin my friendship with him?" Dianne stared angrily at me. I smiled back.

"Do u think I would tell u to do this if I knew that the outcome would be a bad one?" I then walked off to class, leaving her with her thoughts.

Dianne

Did Joe like me? Zoe had hinted that he did. But surely he wouldn't. No matter. I was happy just being his friend. Wasn't I?

I met Joe at the school gate as I was going back to his house.

"Hey Suggy!" I ran up and hugged him because it just felt right. At first he appeared taken aback and didn't move but he recovered quickly and wrapped his arms around me.

"I take it u had a good day" He laughed into my hair.

"I got some amazing news!" I pulled away and grinned at him.

"What is it?" He smiled back.

"I made the school dance team" I jumped up and down.

"That's great news" He replied enthusiastly. "I'm really proud of you." He grinned and pulled me in for a hug. I was thoroughly shocked and returned the hug with a lot of enthusiasm. We both pulled away and Joe started quizzing me on my dancing. We hadn't actually talked much about dancing but Joe seemed genuinely interested and I found that I loved talking about it to him. He was just such a good listener.

"I'll teach u to dance one day" I smiled up at him.

"When will that day come Reddo?" He grinned down at me.

"One day Joseph. One day I'll teach u to dance and you'll become amazing at it" I smiled. Joe began to laugh.

"U do realise that I have two left feet, right?"
