"Hey Alex, can you come help watch the kids right now, because I'm cooking and Mia needs to be held like 24/7. "

"Of course love. Yum, dinner smells great!". He says as he sniffs the kitchen.

"So how was your day hun?". I ask as Alex picks little Mia up from her play mat.

"Good, held lots of babies and fed them today. Skin to skin contact works best while they're still in the NICU. "

"That's good. I'm glad that you helped so many kids today. Because we will have to do that on our own soon. " I say, totally hinting at what I found out today.

"Cristina, what are you talking about?". Alex asks.

I stay silent until his brain works it out.

A huge grin spreads on his face. He turns me away from the stove and puts his hands around my hips and pulls me into a kiss. After, he looks down at my stomach and kisses it. "Hang in there little guy. Your mommy doesn't like to slow down, or to be slowed down. Okay? I love you. " He says to the barely formed formed fetus in my uterus.

"Hunny, I'm not showing yet. Could we wait to tell the hospital until they can see it?".

"Sure Baby. Whatever you want. Does Mer know?".

"Yeah, we both found out on the same day. Except she had a miscarriage and I didn't. And won't. I promise I'll take it easy until the parasite come out of me. " I say firmly.

"Okay. I love you Cristina. Oh, might want to stir the pasta, it's getting bubbly. " He say looking over my shoulder at the pot on the stove. I turn and realize he's right. I grab a pot holder and sizes the handle and dump the pasta and water into the strainer in the sink.

"Zola, Bailey, Katie, Mia, Tuck, dinner's ready!". I say as I grab five plates (all plastic) from the drawers below and dump a small serving of pasta on each colourful plate. I take them over to the table where Alex was getting the kids all situated.

"Alex, when do you want the wedding? I'm going to be showing soon, and I don't why to get a new dress. Should we just keep it simple and only invite a few select friends and do it here?". I say as we both sit down to dinner with the kids.

"Well, if we do do it here, would we invite Meredith and Derek? Will Mer be healed enough to come?". Alex questions.

"I think she will. She better. Because I want her to be my maid of honour. And Zola to be a flower girl, and Callie and April to be bridesmaids too. " I say, thinking out loud.

"I was thinking if having Derek as my best man, and Tucker as the ring bearer and Jackson and Eli to be my groomsmen. The Shepard kids will be there, Miranda and Eli and Tucker, Callie Arizona and Sofia, and obviously April and Jackson. What about family?". He asks.

"No, that sounds like a great little group. How does two months sound?". I ask.

"Will you be showing at three or four months?". He asks.

"Probably. Next month?". I counter.

"Sounds like a date. When dinner is over I'll put the kids to bed and to the dishes if you want to send out the invites. Evites or handwritten?". He says.

"Ill hand write it. I want it to be personal. Well, more personal than an email. "

'To: Callie and Arizona, Meredith and Derek, April and Jackson, Miranda and Eli, and all kids.

Alex and I would like to say that our wedding is going to be on December 29th instead of April 27th.

We have moved up the wedding by a few months only because I, Cristina Yang, am pregnant.

I hope everyone can still come and that the following assignments shouldn't be too hard to fill.

Meredith, maid of honour

Derek, best man

April and Callie, bridesmaids

Eli and Jackson, groomsmen

Zola, flower girl

Tucker, ring bearer

Remember, December 29th!
