Lances POV (after school)
Pidge and I walked home together like usual and Pidge being Pidge brought up Keith
"Sooooooo... About this Keith fella." I feel my face get a bit hot
"What about him?"
"You llliiiiiiiiikkkkkkkeeeee him," she said turning so that she was walking backwards with her hands on the back of her head.
"No I don't, and besides we just met today," I said
"Your wrong." I give her a questioning look "according to Keith you guys have been in the same class since grade 4," she says turning back around and just nearly avoiding a pole.
"I mean we formally met today, I mean ya I knew him in the sense that I saw him in classes almost every day since grade 4, but I also didn't know his name till today he never talked in class so I never heard it."
"And today you finally worked up the courage to talk to him." I look away afraid she might see my blush.
"Well ya but I think I scared him." I calm my face down. "He can barely make a full sentence around me without stuttering." Pidge just smiles thinking she knows what's going on
"You just make him nervous that's all," she says as we turn a corner. "I talked to him in computers, I think he likes you." My blush returns and there's no use hiding it.
"Really?" I ask hopefully.
Pidge smiles "so you do like him."
"Fine I do," I nearly yell at her. "And I might have slipped my phone number in his locker a bit before last period ended," I mumble it a bit but she hears it loud and clear.
Pidge starts to laugh. "You could have given it to him like a normal person." I start to laugh a bit as well.
"You're right," I facepalm then turn into my house and Pidge keeps walking. "See ya," I said waving.
I head up to the porch and sit on one of the chairs on my porch to do my homework outside. I do this often because I don't want my siblings bothering me. Well I do my homework I hear some laughter from a bit down the road
I hear a voice sarcastically say "I think any girl would gladly give me their number," and then a fit of laughter. I look up from my books and see that it's Keith and Hunk. Keith turns up the driveway beside my house and Hunk keeps walking
'HE LIVES BESIDE ME????????' my brain screams 'how didn't I notice??'
