Part 18

-after school-

Lance's POV

"YES SCHOOLS OUT, I LOVE FRIDAYS!!" Pidge yelled as we left school.

"What about homework," Hunk asked. Pidges face immediately fell and she just stood there. Everyone burst out laughing.

"I hate homework," she stated then continued walking.

"Hey, do you guys all want to hang out this weekend?" Pidge askes recovering from the sudden drop of us having homework.

"Ya sure." Hunk and I say and Keith just nods his head.

"Where will it be?" I question.

"There's a fair that opened up a few days ago my brother and a few of his friends are going and he offered to bring me and some of my friends along."

Keith's POV

"I didn't know you have a brother," I said.

"You didn't?" She questioned. "You know our brothers are friends?" I gave her a curious look. She laughed a bit "Matt and Shiro had been hanging out for a few years now and Shiro's coming with us."

"Oh, I know Matt I didn't know he was your brother." I heard Lance laugh a bit, while Pidge just facepalms. 'Now that I think of it they do look a lot alike.'

We continue walking and soon reach Lance's house. "What time are we meeting at your house," Lance asks before heading down his driveway.

"About 11 will be fine," Pidge says.

"Ok well see you all tomorrow," Lance says with a smile then waves goodbye.

I head to my house and say goodbye to Pidge and hunk.

"Hey I'm home," I say as I enter the house.

"Hey Keith," Shiro yelled from the kitchen.

"Hey, do you know where mom is?"

"She's out doing groceries, why?" Shiro asked.

"Pidge invited me, Lance, and Hunk to hang out tomorrow and I wanted to double-check with her that it was ok," I explained sitting next to Shiro at the counter.

"Where are you guys going?"

"The fair that just opened a few days ago."

Shiro nodded, "right! Matt said you guys were probably coming." He then went back to reading his book.

I decided to not disturb him from his reading and headed up to my room.

My phone buzzed, Lance had added me to a group chat.

Lancey_lance: Hey.

I look at the text and smile at his username.

Keith: Hey 'Lancey_Lance'

Lancey_Lance: You like my user name?

Keith: Oh very much *sarcastic voice*

Pigeon: He's had worse names.

Keith: Really?

Pigeon: Yep he has.

Hunkaronie: Like what.

Pigeon: One time it was 'bat_boi'

Pigeon: There was also 'Lance_a_lot'

Pigeon: And 'loverboylance'

Pigeon: Oh and 'the_tailer'

Keith: Why 'the_tailer'?

Lancey_Lance: Because of how I thread the needle

Keith: ??

Pigeon: DON'T YOU DARE DESTROY THIS BOY'S INNOCENCE OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND END YOU

Hunkaronie: Pidge calm down

Lancey_Lance: Please don't kill me Pidge

Keith: Wait what does it mean?

Pigeon: Don't say it, McClain.

Lancey_Lance: I wasn't going to. I don't want you to kill me I have a future to look forward to.

Pigeon: Like marrying Keith

Keith: \\0-0//

Lancey_Lance: PIDGE WHAT THE HECK THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!

Hunkaronie: Sure Lance sure...

Lancey_Lance: IT'S NOT!!!

Keith: As much as I love seeing this pan out I need to go my mom just got home and needs me ttyl.

Lancy_Lance: Bye<3

Pigeon: Aww Lance added a heart OTP *^* !!!!

Pigeon: Bye innocent bean.

Hunkaronie: See ya tomorrow Keith.

----'Keith' has left the group---

I turned off my phone and put it on my pillow and headed downstairs where my mom was waiting for me.

"Hey mom," I greeted as I entered the room.

"Hey sweetie how was your day?"

"It was good, Pidge invited me Hunk and Lance to the fair that just opened, can I go?"

"When is it?" she asked with a smile.

"Tomorrow at 11," I said hopefully.

"With there be an adult there?"

"Well here older brother Matt and some of his friends will be there with us, and Shiro's part of that group." My mom smiled a bit then nodded. "Thank you! And what did you need me for?"

"Oh just some groceries," she pointed to the bags on the counter and I sighed.

I head over to the table and start to put the food away.

"How was your day?" my mom asked putting some cans in one of the cupboards.

"It was good," I said grabbing the bananas out of the bag.

"Did anything interesting happen?"

"Well..." I started but was interrupted by my mom slamming her hands on the table and saying "Spill the beans." as a joke I picked up the can of beans in front of me and tipped it over.

"Ok, but I don't see how that helps," I say.

My mom sent me a small glare but I could tell she wanted to laugh at it. "You know what I mean"

"Ok well... Lance and I kissed," my mom's face lit up and I heard a small gasp come from the living room where Shiro was. "And he's my boyfriend now," I say a bit shyly.

"Aww sweetie I'm so proud of you!" My mom said with a smile.

We continue talking about our days and there were a lot of questions about Lance, but other than that the conversation was normal.
