Part 11

Lances POV

Keith looks over at me and I look away. My face starts to heat up. 'Calm down Lance I'm sure his answer isn't going to be that bad.'

A few minutes pass and I finish eating "Thank you for dinner it was really good," I say standing up and trying to avoid eye contact with Keith which was fairly simple considering he was doing the same. "Where do you want me to put the bole?"

"Oh just in the sink is fine," Keith's mom says with a smile.

Keith gets up to put his bowl away as well and I head back upstairs, Keith on the other hand was in no hurry to get back to the conversation we were having, hung back a moment then followed.

When he finally walks into his room I'm sitting on his bed.

Instead of sitting on the bed with me, Keith sits on the bean bag on the floor probably to put some distance between us. We sit in silence for a bit and I try to think of what to say

"A-about y-your question umm," he finally says

"It's fine I put you under a lot of pressure you don't need to answer me right now," I pause. "But I am still expecting an answer at some point," I give him a small smirk.

"I umm I have an answer b-but I'm not sure h-how to say it," he said fiddling with his hands and not looking at me.

My smirk fades and I stare at him a bit with a questioning look. I think for a moment then say "then don't say it." Now he's giving me the weird look as I look around for paper and pen. "Wright it," I say as I find what I was looking for and hand it to Keith.

He slowly takes the paper and pen "o-ok." He thinks for a moment then scribbles something down.

He folds the paper in half then slowly hands it to me. I unfold it and Keith buries his face in his knees.

'I would say yes to your question.' I read it over again thankful that that was his answer.

I see Keith peek up a bit from behind his knees.
