Part 19

Lance's POV

"Mama I'm home," I say as I enter the house.

"Hola Lance how was your day?"

"It was really good," I say with a smile. I kiss my mama on the cheek. "I have some homework that I want to get done so I'll be in my room," I tell her as I head for the stairs.

"Bueno."

I head upstairs and decide to add Keith to a group chat.

(time skip you already know the texting conversation they had)

I put my phone down and laugh a bit at the conversation.

"Hey, Lance?" I hear a voice from the door.

"Humm" I hum in reply. I look over to the door and see Veronica.

"Whatcha doin'," she asks walking into my room.

"I was just texting with some friends and was about to do my homework."

"Ooh were you texting your boyfriend?" he said teasingly, My face goes a bit red and she smirks she sits down on my bed beside me. "What were you guys talking about?"

"Nothing really," I said.

"Really? Nothing at all?" she whined.

"No it was short and he had to go help his mom with something and Pidge and Hunk needed to get to their homework which I should be doing right now."

Veronica sighed and stood up. "Wait you never denied him being your boyfriend," she mumbled. "Did you tell him!?" she asked excitedly. I could feel my face going red. Veronica's smile grew bigger she ran over to the door "Rachel come here!!" she yelled down the hall.

I didn't know what to do so I just sat on my bed fiddling with my shirt.

"What is it," Rachel asks as she enters the room. She looks over at me and saw my blushing face. "Oooh are we tormenting Lance about his crush"

"Boyfriend actually," Veronica corrects. My face gets redder and Rachel looks at me shocked but still smiling.

"So Lance," she says teasingly. "You told him?" It wasn't much of a question considering she knew the answer. I nod my head a bit. "Oh my gosh, you have to tell us everything!!" She says sitting on my bed with an extra bounce.

I tell them the events of the night before and this morning, they stopped me a couple of times to get me to repeat certain parts. They don't believe that I told Keith I liked him and kissed him.

Once I finished telling them everything Veronica asked "so when's your first date?"

"I don't know I haven't asked him on one yet unless you count the group hang out tomorrow that we're doing." My sisters look at me unimpressed.

"That is not your first date unless you can get him alone for a while then maybe..." Rachel says trailing off.

"You won't have to worry about that, I'm sure Hunk and Pidge are coming up with a plan to ditch Keith and me as we speak so we will get some sort of alone time," I say roaming my eyes.

We keep talking for a while before I shoe them out so I can get my homework done.
