Lance's POV

"Oh come on it's a sleepover can we at least stay up until 10:30" I give him my puppy dog eyes.

"Fine, w-what are we going t-to do?" I look around the room trying to figure that out myself.

I think for a moment "we could just talk?" I say more as a question.

He nods and sits back against the wall leaning a bit on my shoulder "What do we talk about?" he asks looking up at me.

I look over at him "when did you start liking me?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Oh umm well I always thought you were cute but I realized I liked you in... I think it was 6th grade." I hadn't realized he had liked me for so long. "w-what about you?"

"You got me beat. Do you remember last year when I dated that girl named Allura" I see Keith's smile fade a bit before he nods "about a week before I broke up with her is about when I realized I liked you, but I only admitted it not that long ago."

Keith looked up at me with a small smile, it made my heart skip a beat. "wow a whole year and you never even figured out my name" he said teasing.

"You don't talk a lot in classes so I never really heard it," I say in defence.

"But still we were in classes for what? was it five years? and you never knew my name?"

I sigh in defeat and Keith smiles at his victory.

"You are cute you know," I say again.

"No, you are," I heard him mumble.

"Sorry what was that," I tease.

"I said no you're the cute one," his face blushed more.

"Sure I am," I lean down and kiss his cheek, and his face went even redder.

Our conversation drifts from school to family to friends and before we knew it was midnight. Keith's eyes slowly closed as our conversation came to an end. He fell asleep on my lap and I fell asleep sitting up on the bean bag.
