Part 16

Keith's POV

"Hey, there's the cutest couple in school!" Pidge says teasingly as we sit. My face goes red and Lance just laughs.

"Awww she thinks we're cute," Lance says nudging my shoulder with his.

I smile down at the table a bit and pull out my sandwich.

"So what were you guys talking about that was so secretive?" Pidge asks taking a bite of her sandwich.

"I just needed to tell Keith something," Lance said. I could tell by the look in Pidges eyes she wanted to ask further questions but she didn't.

We continue eating in silence and I was getting a bit uncomfortable. Lance noticed and put a hand on top of mine that was under the table then looked at me to see if it was ok for him to do that. I give a slight nod with a small smile.

I turn my hand around so I could intertwine our fingers. The silence seemed to be more bearable with our hands together, but it could just be that now I wasn't paying attention to the silence and was focused on our hands.

Pidge saw our hands. "aww you guys are so cute!" I start to blush at what she said. I looked down at the table to try and hide it, but before I realized it Pidge took out her phone and snapped a picture.

"Was there a reason you took the picture?" Lance asked. He wasn't mad he was just curious.

"You guys need cute couple pictures from when you first started dating." I give her a questioning look to ask why. "So that I have something to show at your guys' wedding," she said with a smirk.

At that my face when even hotter. I looked over at lance to see his reaction, he was as stunned at her words as I was.

But before we could say something about it the bell rang telling us we had to get to our next class. Lance lets go of my hand and we head to our lockers to get our gym stuff.
